This was a huge upgrade from our original Sony 4k player. The picture quality is incredible and the smart player comes with all the bells and whistles.

Excellent blue ray player. Really no complaints at this point other than the streaming apps are far and few at the Panasonic store.

Panasonic Blu Ray Player makes everything Look Great!!

I have not set up this Blu-Ray player yet. However, I know Panasonic's reputation. I own Panasonic camera's to Televisions. All great quality! The top end Panasonic Blu-ray player is now the new bench, and this is only one model / step below. Also, it was a VERY good price.

This is a great 4K DVD player with streaming. The installation is easy and the menu is simple to navigate. Picture quality is excellent!

I originally bought the 840 but had to return it. This player is significantly smaller and lacks one or two of the features of the 840 but has the same brilliant picture and sound quality for around half the price. The main thing lacking from this vs 840 is Dolby Vision. If like me you have a projector, or perhaps you have a TV that doesn't play Dolby vision, then save yourself a few hundred and get this instead. The remote and the interface are very similar and both feel more in keeping with a product in this price range. Very happy with my purchase so far.

Bought this HD-DVD player to replace an old Sony Bluray. My reaoning was two-fold: 1) it supported Dolby Atmos 2) It supported Sony’s version of Dolby Vision (I have a large screen Sony TV). It is a great player. There are other players that support Dolby Vision but not all support Sony’s version of it.

The DP-UB820 its one of the most versatile 4k blu ray players in the market, it has the power to edit the HDR settings from your tv to experience the best way possible. Its the only one capable of HDR10+ for the Samsung tvs and the dolby vision from the other tvs. I would recommend this 4k blu ray player for those who bought or has a premium 4k tv because this blu ray makes the most of those tvs.

This replaces my Sony 4k player and it is definitely a step up. The color quality and sound are excellent.

Works exactly as advertised and one of the only options if you want to "future proof" with all the HDR standards in use today.

Very good picture and sound. Was able to buy on sale so very happy with the price. I am very disappointed with the apps available for streaming. There are only 3 that are worthwhile, the rest are junk no one will use.

I was worried with this (and most) 4k uhd blu ray players now being “old” and this one really still covers all the bases. All video formats, backward compatible, separate audio out channel available. Not much more to want or need.

Best streaming cd/dvd player I could find. Top quality images, easy to use.

Great 4K player never freezes and great HDR/Dolby vision

Replacing a Sony player that's 3 years old. The HDR tone-mapping feature is what I wanted from this player. It works great.

Upgraded from my Sony UBP-X700 and this is a much bigger device. Menus are nicer and love that I don't have to turn on and off Dolby Vision like I did with the Sony.

Excellent 4K Blu ray player!! Easy to setup and the picture & sound are great!
