One thing to note though - the HDR optimizer will not work with Dolby vision you need to turn it off in settings in order to use the Optimizer feature for HDR !

Just remember to look up the manual on line first and go to page 9. This page lists the playable file and media type you can play. This player can play quite a few media file types, but not all.

Some specialty players exist; Magnetar but this is a more realistic option. UI and App support are dated but it really has no direct competition for 4k UHD Disk playback.

The remote needs some updating (looks cheap) and there is no dolby atmos content available (or supported) in netflix app (?) Audio and Video quality is great!
