Great for 4K UHD discs, but…

But, throw a blu ray in it and not so much. But, I read this is the case for many owners when I search for information online. There are some hacks that I have tried to allow the standard blu ray discs to play. That works for some, not for some. About a 50/50 chance. I would expect the potential of this issue at a much lower price point, but definitely not for a player over $300 USD. I’ve checked the region codes, not the problem. I’ve updated the firmware and tried everything I could research online and find for a fix. Nothing seems to work. I’ll most likely be returning it.

Best 4K blue ray player with Dolby vision
