Couldn't gift this subscription

I purchased this intending to gift it to my father but found out after purchase that it wouldn't work. I had to redeem it for my own account which was NOT what I was trying to do. Also, the 1 year subscription starts the moment you buy this from Best Buy so beware. In trying to figure this all out, I've now lost a week of the membership. Not a huge loss but just adds more disappointment to this purchase. Now to find out how to cancel (through BB or through Pandora) so it doesn't charge me again for next year.

I was not aware I needed to cancel the free trial

If you do not cancel within the 30 days you will be charged regardless if you activated the free trial or not. I was unpleasantly surprised with a charge on my credit card. I never gave Best Buy permission to release my Credit Card to Pandora.
