    My 5 y/o loves anything Mario and he wanted to try this game. It's easy enough for him to understand the controls and play the game. It's simple minded and takes little effort. The only down side is that all the instructions and dialogue are written out, not spoken. So I have to read everything to him. But that's ok, I don't mind.

    The Paper Mario has evolved in an interesting manner. The series began with 2 RPGs and have slowly changed with each iteration include a new collection/item/attack mechanic. While I would prefer they go back to their roots, Color Splash does a decent job the the card system they have in place. Give it a try if you find it on sale.
