Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the enjoyable gameplay, fun story, and humor as highlights of Paper Mario: Color Splash. Many also praise the game's ease of use and memorable music. However, some find the battle system cumbersome and the amount of reading required excessive. A few players also felt the game's difficulty level could be improved.

I was a little unsure about this game from what other people were telling me, but it was a lot of fun. The best part is interacting with all the characters in the game. They say different things at different points in your progress, and it's always something funny.

Its got the quirky humor you expect from intelligent systems. The game series is trying to break away from it's RPG roots; battle moves are now found it bought then expire; gaining additional moves in battle is up to a roulette; etc. Overall, while I haven't finished it yet, its a worthy entry in the series.

Mario and Peach travel to Prism island after receiving a strange envelope. They discover the island has been drained of color and aim to save the island.Combat is the greatest weakness of Color Splash. If they went back to the combat mechanics of Thousand Year Door that would improve things significantly.

By far the best Paper Mario in the series. Corrected all of the issues of the previous combat system. Battle cards are plentiful and vary greatly. It is also a long game, my son and I already have 20+ hours in the game with plenty to go.

Relax with Wii U's version of the Paper Mario: Color Splash game. Everyone's favorite Italian plumber is sent to Prism Island, which has been drained of its color. Mario brings justice to Prism Island in Paper Mario: Color Splash, and he uses the Paint Hammer to restore life as well as color.

I like the game so far. I just wish combat was different. The card system is a painfully slow way to battle. Especially when the battles are useless once you max your coins out, which is very easy to do not that far into the game.

This was my first paper mario game and I truly enjoyed it. The story was decent but the jokes, puns, and level design were superb. After beating this game I plan on working on the other paper mario games minus sticker star.

My 7 yr old got bored very quickly even though he'd been asking for it for Christmas. Too much reading required at every step. Maybe when his vocabulary increases and can read everything himself, it may peak his interest again.

We got this for our son for his birthday, he loves the game. The only issue I have is that it is only one player( we have 4 kids ). I knew this when I bought it, but wish they had it as a muti player game.
