    This review probably contains a few spoilers. For me, this game ruined the Paper Mario series. It took out the elements I loved the most - gaining new party members, fun items and learning new skills as the game progressed. The battle mechanics in this game are that Mario is dealing cards with different moves on them (jump, double jump etc). The cards were so boring and on top of that Mario doesn't gain any party members besides the one he meets at the begging. Besides that it just didn't feel right, the story, character interactions and everything. If you are planning to buy this game I highly recommend waiting until it drops in price.

    I really wanted to like this, but it's just so very repetitive that it gets dull fast. Kept finding myself reluctant to even turn on the WiiU. Traded in.

    The game play is not what I expected. I love Mario brother games and while this game is OK it is in my opinion not up to par with other Mario games.

    Running around splashing color reminds me of De Blob, which I traded in a long time ago. Could be better, could be worse.
