We will never get a paper mario game like the first 2, but this is the closest it has been in a long time. The battle system is just a weird puzzle, but its nice to see the open world make a come back with some actual minor story telling, odd, but nice.

It's not as good as the first two. I still wish they'd go back to the party system those games had, but this game is still incredibly fun. It's better than the last two Paper Mario games for sure.

Fun paper Mario game on the switch. If you are a fan of the series and have a switch this is a must buy. I really enjoyed the one on the Wii U and have enjoyed playing this one too.

I have been thoroughly enjoying playing the latest edition of paper Mario. The music and landscapes are gorgeous. The characters and companions are fun and memorable, it’s an overall great game!

Great Game! Great Story! Have not been able to put it down since I started playing it. Really liked the Origami series (Granted only one other) But was a fun, cute game.

Always loved the Paper Mario games. Graphics are great and gameplay is awesome. Would love a difficulty setting on the newer Nintendo games!

I'm early into this game but I'm enjoying the changes from previous Paper Mario titles. The dialogue is also really funny and the art style is beautiful. Another great Mario game on the Switch.

If you're used to other Paper Mario games, the battles play a bit differently with this game. Overall, it's a similar experience you get with previous ones in the series and if you like it, you will probably enjoy this. Otherwise, it doesn't do too much new.

This game is a typical Mario game. Great graphics, keeps you guessing, and fun! The graphics at emu favorite part, who thinks of these?? Fun story line and of course perfect for family play!

This is my first Nintendo Switch Game and so far, I like it a lot. I'm very hard to please when it comes to games. I love the storyline.

This is a great game for the money and well worth the purchase. I have been able to get lost in this game and the great story that it has. I would highly recommend it for any fan of Mario.

Growing up with a GameCube i played paper Mario, it was by far one of my favorite games. This game has lived up to the hype and so far I've really enjoyed it!

Origami King is extremely well written, providing lots of humor all throughout the game. The boss battles are fun and challenging as well.

I was 1 hour away from beating the game and I couldn’t bear the thought of launching the game one more time. The fighting was a DRAG, the humor was amazing for the first maybe 2 hours but it got repetitive and annoying after that. Other than mandatory fights, there’s literally no reason to fight. If I could avoid an encounter, I would. The story was interesting and the visuals were gorgeous, but you may want to avoid this game. I lost it when a strategic boss fight turned into a game of luck when Nintendo thought it would be cute and funny to have the origami hand decide he wanted to play Rock Paper Scissors as his phase 2 in the boss fights.

I've been a fan of Paper Mario since the 1000 Year Door. The series hasn't been consistently great but I appreciate that it's a series willing to try different things. I dont totally love every choice in Paper Mario: The Orgami King but overall it is a really fun game. The puzzle combat is a little tedious after awhile but it's pretty easy to by pass them. I really enjoyed the boss battles as well as existing in the paper mario world.

So far I’m enjoying the game for what it is. Fans of the original Paper Mario and it’s sequel might not like that it doesn’t have a traditional experience system like other RPGs but the actual funny dialogue the characters make this game worth picking up.

Paper mario series is a great choice for all ages. It engages your mind in critical thinking while still being fun. Easy enough to not get frustrated but difficult enough to challenge you

We love everything Mario and liked the Sticker Star version for DS so we knew we had to have this one. Even my teenager who initially said I don't think we need it can't stop playing it.

Awesome game to the series! Incredible graphics, beautiful and artistic artwork, it truely is a “work of art” no pun intended. Colors pop out and a family friendly game no doubt.
