Thousand Year Door is still the best game from this series in my opinion. Excited for the original from N64 to be released on Switch Online.

The battle system on here is not very fun and unfortunately you are forced into battles about every minute or two of the game. It was interesting the first couple of times, but quickly gets tedious. The rest of the game is cute and somewhat funny, though the last few chapters felt kinda rushed through development. Probably because Nintendo hasn’t had much else to deliver since the release of Animal Crossing.

I love this game! My 6yr old likes it, but there is so much reading he gets bored with it so I play it.

Having played all the previous paper Mario games, we found this is just a series of mini games rather than a story. You don’t have much freedom to explore the game, instead you have a companion telling you what to do and you must follow it. The companion character is annoying. Battles are just mini games, not that fun. Graphics are very good, but definitely expected more from Nintendo on the next paper Mario game evolution.

My 6 year old got this as a birthday present and he loves it. Its fun enough that my 9 year old is playing it as well.

I love the paper Mario series. Story is fine, the new battle mechanics were weird at first but than got to be fun.

This game is a blast. Lots of fun! Graphics are great. Puzzles are challenging but not too hard. You'll love it.
