Fun game, big fan of Mario so this was a must have.

Fun game but compared to the original paper Mario for N64 (last one I played) it is very structured. The story line is interesting but battle mode lost its appeal for me as it is more of a puzzle or brain-teaser than an action-oriented RPG. I have only beaten worlds 2/8 so hoping it becomes less restricted as the game continues. TBD!

Great looking and great gameplay the combat is the only downfall

Its fun from the get go with many twists and turns. My son and daughter have played it and so have I. Like I said, it is the very best Paper Mario! It is full of fight scenes and you get to have many weapons such as boots and hammers that you can find or buy in shops.

I love the story and it kept me entertained till the end. The only problem is every battle begins to feel like a boring chore that you do to get more story. I hope in the future they either do regular turn based battles or even over world fights instead of this weird puzzle stuff.

A little difficult for little ones but overall good Mario game

I bought this thinking my young girls would like it but after 20 min of reading that I did and then finding out the game is turn based it is awful I should of watched game play first so it is my fault. I gave it 3 stars because it has good visuals for a switch game.

An almost perfect masterpiece, this was so close to the format we wanted back as an audience! We just need to get playable companions back and remove the gimmicks from the traditional turn based combat system, and it will be perfect again. 9/10

Bought this game and it’s really good. It’s not an RPG more like an action RPG. Puzzles are not too hard but sometimes are challenging. Does have ways to make it easy so there is that. Lots of locationAnd stuff to do a lot of fun and still trying to finish it

Good game. A bit handholdy but was definitely enjoyable.

I preordered this game the day after it was announced and was extremely excited for it. It's a great game, despite what a lot of people say. They're just mad it's not Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door. It has an amazing soundtrack, emotional moments, and characters that you can easily get attached to. Totally worth what I paid for :)

Great game. My kids love it. Takes it a bit to get going.
