Gone is the Party Management System

The first 2 Paper Mario games are still some of my favorite games of all time. I had hopes that this would call back to them, but there are still so many changes that it does not capture the essence of those. Gone is the party collection and management system. All in all, not bad, just not what I wanted.

It's okay

It is fun in some parts but I don't find myself having much fun with it. The puzzle battles are kind of cool but overall it's a pretty average experience

The hallmarks are there, but overall it feels very slow. The ‘dialogue’ is all text, and it crawls very slowly. The gameplay features a new ring system that, well, sucks. It’s not a terrible game, but definitely wait until it’s $20.
