Good game
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like it! It's fun to play and reminds me a lot of the original paper mario. One thing I don't like is the way they do battle I wish they would have kept it the old way.

Whimsical fun
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fun and whimsical game. Great for all ages although the boss battles may be a tad tough for younger players. Very good writing as well, I've laughed many times.

Interesting Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited a long time for a Paper Mario game to come to the Switch. This one turned out to be a little different than what I had hoped, but it is fun nevertheless. Battles are non-traditional, and I guess that's what makes this game interesting. However, I would have loved it if they had kept the same formula as the previous games in the series. That's the one drawback of this game. Overall, I'll see if it grows on me, if not, hope to see the next game in this series go back to its roots!

A unifying force
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As someone who's loved every Paper Mario installment, from N64 to Color Splash, this might be my favorite in the series. I think it did a really good job of bringing back some older mechanics (open world, companions, epic narrative) without completely erasing what the newer games brought to the table (art style, interesting battle mechanics, platforming elements). If you're looking for TTYD part 2 this isn't it. But if you want a fantastic and unique Mario adventure this is 10/10.

My 1st Paper Mario!
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wow, I had fun from the beginning to the end. I can only play games on the go, which the Switch is great for, and this game was perfect for those occasions. I know there were some negative feedback from the people who wanted Paper Mario series to go back to its roots, but I had a lot of fun playing this game. I think if you can be open about that aspect, it's really worth picking up!

Weird battle system but overall it is pretty good.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The battle system is much different than the previous games. My biggest complaint was that it was a little too easy. I liked it more than Color Splash and Sticker Star though.

Best Paper Mario in a long time
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Really enjoying this game. Not as good as TTYD, but definitely an improvement over the past few releases in the series.

Actually worth the money
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is fantastic. I streamed 1 world and it took me around 4.5 hours to complete without many set backs so it should be about 25-35 hours of gameplay to beat but not 100% complete which seems rare now days. There are collectibles and secret spots in the game that really brings back so awesome gaming memories. Battles do get repetitive and can be a little complicated to solve the puzzle in time to make the battle easier but a great way to challenge a kid’s (and adults) brain.

Beautiful experience
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Paper Mario 2 was the last installment I played in this wonderful series so I was excited to jump back in, having missed out on all the fun of the previous installments to Origami King. While Paper Mario: Origami king is a miss on my favorite RPG mechanics, it still offers a beautiful and refreshing gaming experience. It is a game that should be enjoyed by generations to come!
