anyone who loves mario are going to like this a lot pretty awesome game in my opinion.

You know its gonna be a decent game if it's a Paper Mario game, but it's just irritating that theres no leveling system. You just are what you are and you only upgrade after defeating a boss. You also dont get any kind of gratification for earning new weapons. They're just out there in the open. Nothing exciting about it. Also, my god, the battle system is absolutely the worst. It makes you line up enemies like some sort of puzzle before you decide from a list of options that includes A. Jump or B. Hammer. It's pretty lame. Overall you will have some fun with it but I certainly dont understand the lack of variety. There is no more reward for fighting battles; it's best to just run away from them or flee when you get into the battle. Really just a failure of innovation here. I rate everything pretty high but this one gets a 2 and it's almost only because it's a Paper Mario game. I'm neutral on whether I would recommend this or not. It just seems too lazily made for me to really promote it to anyone other than the extremely casual gamer with nothing else to play. Missed opportunity here for Nintendo. Dont believe me?
