Paper Mario, Quick and Easy
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. An RPG with a pretty funny/cute story and vibrant, crisp animation/graphics. There's a lot of story telling going on and exploratory elements, but it's all very basic. I would recommend it strictly for younger children since it is quite simple. For an adult, I don't see myself playing it after one go.

Fun Paper Mario Game
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very fun addition to the franchise. The humor is very, very good and the game play really takes advantage of the Switch format. My husband knows what I'm playing when I start shaking my Switch like crazy during a boss fight.

GOTY contender.
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.A new take on an RPG series that does something completely different but also is familiar. The battles are actually slide puzzles! Music is freaking amazing and story will make you cry. SOOO good.

A Sleeper Hit
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly despite the backlash this game has gotten from fans, there's a lot to enjoy in this game. The dialogue and writing is phenomenal, the graphics are drop dead gorgeous and charming, and the experience is very memorable. One big negative is there not being any rewards for battling enemies.

Play this!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s not like the other paper mario games but it’s fun if you take it for what it is. Just try it out and keep an open mind and you’ll find a fun game with a lot of humor. It’s also a very pretty game. The graphics pop!

Great Game
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am enjoying it. So at it’s just as well made as the old versions but of course better. I am not even half way yet but it’s not as challenging as I would have hoped but I’ll cross my fingers there’s harder levels to come.

Good game, with some issues.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun game, but the combat is kind of repetitive. The story if interesting and keeps you engaged, but not really a return to form like I and many other wanted. Overall, can't complain though. I just kind of wish they called it something besides Paper Mario.

The funniest game on the Switch
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game is fun and funny. Beautiful design and music and an engaging story. My only complaints are that is a little short and that the combat system is complicated and cumbersome. Other than that it's well worth playing.

Wonderful game with a clunky battle system
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In any other RPG, a clunky battle system would be a deal-breaker, but Paper Mario has so much more to offer than its battles. It's got a wonderful story and the joy of finding All the hidden things never gets old.

fun and funny, battle system is kinda meh...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Following in the footsteps of previous titles in the paper mario franchise, this game is very fun and has genuinely funny writing. The battle system is interesting at first, but quickly becomes very repetitive, and provides no real progression to the story. Worth a pickup, though.

Good Comedy, Okay Fighting
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This game has some great comedy and I love the designs and look of the characters in it this far of me playing, the main villain was a bit too edgy teen looking but that is the point I feel to make it more humorous. It is a fun filled game just meant to have you fall in love with the comedy and interaction between characters. I feel they went for this and went for a cool puzzle solving way of doing battles, but that also makes battles a bit more dull in my opinion as they aren't challenging and don't have a level up system like let's say Pokemon or dark souls. It's just memory, which isn't awful, but I wish they added other different way of fighting against more tough opponents. Still an amazing game worth the play and I can't wait to finish it!

Son loves it
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My almost 8 year old loves this game. Has some challenge to it so he doesn’t breeze right through, but not too much to where he doesn’t want to play. Love the graphics. Dialogue is quite comical as well.

Paper Mario is the Best!!!
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you love Mario but and like using your head a little to figure things out then Paper Mario is the perfect game. It's fun yet a lil challenging in the sense that tou have to do a little more thinking than in your regular Mario games. I love the story line and the art work in these games. They are basic but have some depth to them as well. The only thing I dont really like a lot is the battling style where you have to put enemies in a line/or bunch to get the best hits in. I guess they wanted tonchange it up a little but I perfer the battling style from "Paper Mario the 1000 Year Door" over all the other styles in each game. All and all I recommend this game especially if you have liked the Paper Mario games prior to this one.
