The improved visuals and the fact this is easier to get ahold of now (compared to the OG GC release) are reasons to celebrate this Switch release, even if 60 fps would have made this release that much better.

This is the paper mario to end all paper marios. This is considered by many as the best in the entire series and for good reason. Its humor was great and still holds up. Same for the battle system which I wish the new games would go back to because these new paper mario battle mechanics are horrible.

I love this game! It looks, runs, and feels great on my OLED switch. I have played through a couple times since I bought it - one of the best entries on the Paper Mario series.

As someone who had been wanting to play the original for years, this was a great opprtunity to finally get to do so, and it's also an excellent return to form for the series.

Already one of the best Nintendo RPGS gets a beautiful definitive release that i never thought would happen. Would recommend to anyone, especially for their first RPG.

Was really looking forward to this game after announcement, and can confirm it didn’t disappoint with the graphics and gameplay, and new additions. I think it did the original justice.

Great game. I’d highly recommend it for players of varying ages or to play as a group / family.

I will always have an interest in playing Mario games. Just like the original version, this game was enjoyable too. Some may not like the RPG aspect of the game, but it’s worth a go if you like Mario games.

Very good remake of an already amazing game with added soundtracks and additional content

Never played the original. Gave this one a try and I love it. It simply is another great Nintendo Mario game. It is a little more “strategic” during battles and isn’t your simple jump on their head to beat the enemies as most Mario games. But once you get the hang of battles it’s fun. Only gripe is sometimes I just want to walk through a level to get to another place and you sometimes are challenged to too many small battles when you aren’t trying to do that. Otherwise great game. Lots of fun.

This was one of my favorite games as a kid, and the remastered version for the Switch looked amazing! Had a great time playing it again, but this time in better quality in graphics and TV picture.
