Phenomenal game love it. Any nintendo lover would love this game

My nephew asked for this game for Christmas. He loves anything Mario related. I watched him play this for a bit after the holidays and it seems pretty fun. He really likes this over the Princess Peach one. Though, he does like Peach too. He seems to play Paper Mario more often.

Very happy with this game. If you are considering not picking up because of the 30 FPS situation, I would not let that hold you back. Game is very visually appealing with great writing and characters as usual. Combat does get a bit repetitive, but can be dealt with thanks to great pacing, music, and interesting story. Can't believe they actually did it, but so glad they did.

Everything you expect from Nintendo and a little more for the price helps you to have a little nostalgia when remembering those classic games

An excellent update to the best of the Mario RPGs. They didn't go overboard with entirely new graphics of features, just updated the graphics, included a few minor easter eggs, corrected some localization issues of the original, and add a couple of extra optional bosses and foods. Nintendo wisely chose not to mess with the original's success.

Great remake of the original GC game. Love the new music, love the relocalized script (I am a big Vivian fan). Really hoping this spells the return of great Mario RPGs (haven’t played Brothership)

Grandson loves all things Mario. Has enjoyed countless hours playing this games. Enjoys the challenge. Grandma loves that his mind is keeping active and he has a smile on his face.

it took nintendo 17 years and 5 entries to finally give paper mario fans what they wanted all along... another thousand year door. hopefully the direction of the series leads to more games like this, as this is a pretty great game. i definitely recommend picking it up so nintendo sees that this is what fans want going forward

As someone going into this game for the first time I only had a brief idea of what combat would be like. Man does this game show you why it deserved the remake. The love put into it is obvious and the game looks great. Mario rpg games always have unique characters and this one is no different. You need to give it a try!

Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door is a great remaster of a GameCube classic. Playing the game again brought me back to 2004 and it was glorious, a true bring back to the proper Paper Mario gameplay. Anyone who hasn’t played the original version should play this version of the game to experience the GameCube classic.

Really really loved this game except some fights are definitely very challenging. But the game has some great jokes in it too

I very much recommend this game. There’s so much to do and the locations are really out there and creative. The battle mechanics are also very fun and there’s a lot to them. As a remake it feels very faithfully modernized. I really like how they meshed the papery art style of the new games with TTYD.

This is a game of must play if you never experienced the original one before.
