Great Drone - Great Controller/VR
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is my first full featured drone. I've had a Syma X5c and an XPredator FPV and love flying them. During Black Friday they had this drone marked down to $399 with the SkyController 2 and the VR glasses! So far I have not used the VR glasses but love the Sky Controller! The Bebop 2 has a 25 minute batter life which, to me, its amazing. I am used to 5-7 minutes on my other drones. The video on this drone is amazing!!! The drone is so stable and I love the return to home feature. The FreeFlight Pro is great but the Sly Controller 2 enhanced the range of the drone and it the flight controls are more of what I am used to. When I first connected to the drone the latest firmware was installed on the Bebop 2 and the SkyController. To fly, you just hit the Take Off button and you are ready to go. The drone will hover about 2 meters of the ground and holds it place. Here in NE Ohio we get a good wind and the Bebop 2 cuts through it with no issue. My other drones do not. The other day I flew the drone in 15 degree (F) and it had no issues. I only flew for about 15 minutes since it was so cold (need to get some different gloves). The video I am getting on from the drone is spectacular! So far I have flown up at 125' and out 100 yards with no loss of signal or performance. The drone is fast and nimble! It turns on a dime but the vertical movement is not as quick. Right now I am having a great time with it and have picked up some extra batteries. I am looking forward to warmer weather and trying out the follow me feature that is available. For the money this is a great drone and the flight time is fantastic!!! I am so glad I bought this!
