If you have never flown a drone or quadcopter before this drone is pretty great. It's extremely stable. Holds its altitude perfectly. Can be pretty quick at about 55 ft per second. Has very stable video at 1080p 30fps. Can go about 480 ft high via software limitations. (don't go over 400ft, that's against the rules). The controls for the camera are decent with a pan up and down to get that perfect angle. Follow me and Waypoint mode work well. If using waypoint mode make sure you account for obstacles as this drone does that avoid anything and WILL crash into a tree, building, power lines etc. Follow me mode should be used in completely open area as it will, i repeat, it will crash into something. Distance will vary depending on how open the area is and how much radio/wifi interference you have in the area. The furthest i managed my drone was 2600 ft in a full wide open cranberry bog. I lost video connection at about this distance. (my best guess was wi-fi interference in the hotel nearby.) I have not gone beyond 2000 ft since then. All in all its a good drone. I think i will try racing drones out next after some hours practicing in a simulator. This hobby is addicting.

This drone fell from the sky without warning 2 minutes into it's first flight. I have flown several drones before and followed all instructions and recommendations. Parrot customer service was quick to escalate my case and then proceeded to ignore me for over a month. Best Buy refuses to help either so I'm out $400. Search Parrot Bobop2 falling from sky and you'll see I'm not alone. This product should not be sold and Best Buy should stand with the customer.

loose connection once in awhile. Battery sucks and loose power quickly.

I was very happy with this drone until it merely flew away upon takeoff. Normally the drone would take off and hover until I started flying. The last time I flew it I went through my normal routine. Calibrating it and linking it to my phone. I then pressed the takeoff buttons and instead of hovering it just took off and my pressing the home button and other controls did nothing. It flew into a tree then dropped into the river. That ended the drone. Until then I truly enjoyed the drone.

Same day that we open it and 1st try drone loose connection and drop from less than 6 feet and break. We returned, very bad quality and I read other comment in other web pages and people are having that loose of connection from nowhere.

The drum is nice and fast and all good with it but On the specification says that it was supposed to fly up to 400 feet but as soon as I reach 200 feet I always lose connection It might be a problem with the antenna on the control I don’t know The only thing I know is when I reach 180 or 200 feet I loose connection

Hey loved the Bebop 2 but had to return it because of bad battery.

You must buy the follow me up I thought it came with the unit but I was wrong

did do a lot of the thing I wanted it to do. flight plan was not free.

Instructions are lacking, once you figure it out it worked great

Haven't used it much. Hard to get calibrated. My second drone.

It was fantastic for 10 days. My son and husband flew it multiple times a day. However, today it was 50% battery power left nearly full charge on controller and just above our house it turned and took off in the opposite direction. The home button wouldn’t work and off it went. There’s a flaw in the programming. Everything was within range and charge and it lost connection ad flew off. No winds today either, product failure. I would recommend buying a different product with verified reliability.

The WiFi sucks a lot of data. The software asks for version 3 but is on 6. Pro works better but with loss of connection, the drone crashes. This is probably the first purchase at Best Buy that was truly disappointing.

This is a little tank of a drone. Photo quality pretty o.k. Video quality pretty o.k. Flight time excellent. Ease of use excellent. 1 hour to charge battery excellent. Distance of RC to drone (i flew mine 1700 meter from where I launched and retained total control from my front porch. Flew it into a tree pretty hard Undamaged! It's a solid easy reliable drone. There are faster, quieter, better video, better photo drones on the market, but not at $250.00 In this price point this is probably the best bang for your buck. I also own a mantis Q, and an Autel Evo. Those are great drones in higher price points. This isn't one of those but this is the best in its class in my humble opinion.

The drone is an even pro and con drone even giving it one star. It has excellent handling abilities that is after you fight with the program/ app constantly to get it to fly...... The camera is ok but no where near 4K. Flying the drone 2 days it had to major flight issues one caused it to spin out of control while indoors... the last was while decending at 100ft no wind to land it began to wobble and shake and slammed into the ground... Ripping the chassis apart. So never figured out what that was all about.... I know compared to DJI the Parrot do not stand a chance.
