It's a gr8 gps drone, holds rock steady in high winds and is extremely fun to fly. Bought it out of the blue as I already have several other drones and love this one too. Just beware purchasing from best buy is a huge mistake!!!! If for some reason you want to return it or exchange it due to issues with the drone that are or were not caused by you best buy will charge you a 15% restocking fee even if the item is defective right out of the box. This happened to me , I would never recommend buying any drone from best buy!!!!!

The Bebop 2 is definitely a good beginners drone. Auto takeoff and land automatic hover it basically flies itself. BEAUTIFUL results with the 1080 camcorder. At $299.99 on sale I couldn't say no. I especially like the long 25 minute flight time. That's what I was basically looking for to begin with. Try to find that for under $300....

I paid $299 for this drone and for the price it can’t be beat. It is very stable and default settings have it tarvel at a moderate speed when flying making it vert easy for a beginner to learn how to fly it. It is fun to fly. Video quality is very acceptable for a $299 drone and an amateur. It might not be acceptable for a professional.

I purchased the drone to be able to quickly look around my property in the Adirondacks. On one of my early flights, I exceeded the range of the controller with about 3000 feet of forest between me and the drone. The drone dutifully returned. I flew back out to test my limits and lost the drone, with no return after 30 minutes I called Parrot support. The quickly taught me how to retrieve the serial number from my phone and were able to supply GPS coordinates that took me to within 50 ft of where my drone came down. I was able to retrieve video just before crash and based on marks on the drone believe either an eagle or hawk took me down. This drone is excellent. Read and follow the directions, charge the battery to 100%, turn the WiFi off on the tablet/phone you use in the controller -- READ and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS and you will enjoy this and avoid the pitfalls of those that didn't read the instructions. Register the drone with the FAA, takes about 10 minutes -- Did I mention READ THE DIRECTIONS. Great Full HD videos shot with the drone. Lasts the full 25 minutes on a single battery. When buying extra battery, I recommend the Parrot brand - I know it is more expensive but that's better than taking a chance having the drone fall from the sky or in the water over trying to save $35. And did I mention... READ THE DIRECTIONS.

I have flown several different drones/UAVs over the past few years including DJI products and the Bebop 2 does not disappoint. Great battery life and very stable flight. The video and photo capabilities is on par and pretty much what i expected. I highly recommend this unit for advanced as well as beginner pilots

Very good drone for observation purposes. Flys really high, VR headset is a pretty cool experience, and 25 mins of flight time is very satisfying. However, this drone is marketed as a racing drone but it does not have the speed or maneuverability of one. Also those in Phoenix be wary of the flight rule as the no drone zone is massive

But... you must be wondering why i only gave 4 stars. Well... the drone itself is great at all aspects and stays true to the manufacturer's features... except! for the camera. It did say 1080p... but on playback, it looks just like a 720p and yes i placed the correct 1080p setting. One more to note is the FPV (First Person View). Warning guys, there's probably a 40 to 60 ms delay depending on the drone's distance. I suggest not going FPV until they fix the delay problem. Other than that... i love how fast the drone is. It is also so sturdy, even after i hit a tree or the wall of our house... it is still in one piece! The props are also flexible and does not shatter on impact. I would say it is perfect for beginners.

I got this as a gift for my husband. It is easy to use and the video quality was good. Would recommend this.

The bebop 2 is a great first drone for all ages! Easy setup! Anyone can fly this as it uses gps

This is my first ever drone I have owned. I'm more than happy with the Parrot Bebob 2 easy to fly and to control. The built quality seems to be great. Handles the wind perfectly doesn't get blown around that much picture quality has been amazing good. Flying time also as advertised I have 3 batteries giving me plenty of time for flying the drone. For my first drone I fill this was the perfect drone for me to learn on. My only complaint is no return home when battery gets low but I fly line of site. I'm very happy this is an amazing drone my friend has been flying drones for over a year said this drone was well worth the money and enjoyed flying Bebop2. I realize there are better drones out there but for the money you won't find a better built drone. It's a ball flying the Parrot. Best Buy shipped the package very fast and a good price. A great drone for a beginner and for a pro.

What you get for the price is the Best Bang for the Buck! Great Camera, Long Flight Time, GPS Enabled, Optional Follow Me and Flight Planner! It's a very dependable Quad and a lot of fun to fly! Great Starter Drone!

Worth it if u get it for 300$. Footage is good. It’s not 4K rather it is 1080p. Flight time is good. I got over 22 minutes. Didn’t go beyond 100 feet though (as I had the restriction set). Downside is if you have large continuous clips recorded it takes forever to transfer. I gave up on the phone transfer and instead hooked it to the laptop to transfer which took lesser time but I would still say I expected a faster transfer rate. Trick is to keep your videos to 3 minutes or so. Doesn’t have video clipping ability in the app. Had to download another editor to clip/trim videos which I think is an overhead. I take away 1 star for the above reasons. Else definitely a good starter drone for someone who is looking to get serious eventually about the hobby.
