I had an older HP all in one desktop that was not touch screen and it was a great computer, but this one runs so smoothly. I love everything about this newer design and the way it runs. I love the new look and the stand holding up the desktop vs the older models (about 7years ago) and the wireless keyboard and mouse that comes with it. So sleek looking. Another great detail about this computer that I love is, how far you can tilt the screen back and forth. One thing I really don't like though, is the fact that the usb connectors are all behind the screen so you cannot get to it so easily, but that's one really minor detail that I can live with. The computer runs so fast even though I have several windows open. I love that. I really hope that doesn't change too much over time. The 23.8 in screen is huge and I'm loving that. I really don't have any complaints about it right now. I love the new upgrade and I would def recommend this purchase to others.

Went from a windows vista to 10 so it has taken some getting used to, I do wish that it was a tower system instead of the all in one, and the touch screen is pretty much useless for what this is used for.

Unfortunately, I am beyond the return window (approaching 3 months), otherwise this would definitely go back. From the start I noticed a very slow performance, but I only use it for basic documents/excel and basic web browsing. It honestly takes a solid 5 seconds minimum just to open a web browser, and the computer will lag just moving the mouse around the screen without even running a program!! Even as I type this review the letters lag a few seconds behind my typing. I don't play any games, and I only have Microsoft Office and McAfee security installed. I don't know if this is unique to all-in-ones but I highly recommend you spend this on a normal desktop, for this kind of money you can get a very powerful one and I wish I had.

I went into Best Buy looking for a computer that could play maybe one or two computer games (sims, kids games) and basic internet stuff. Nothing fancy. I read the reviews on this computer and saw a few that said it shuts off or gives the blue screen of death, but mostly all of them were good. Honestly, I wish I would have taken those reviews more seriously. This computer started shutting off randomly within 3 days of having it. If it wasn’t shutting off it was giving us blue screen of death. I played with the settings to see if maybe it was overheating, and it still shut off. After a week I realized that for this kind of money you should be able to play a game like Sims for more than an hour. I returned it and got an Asus. Haven’t had any issues since.

I'll never again buy HP anything. Thre vious computer, also HP, that I prchased in Octoberl revealed itself gbage right away. Extremely slow, uncompatible wit all existing systems, broke up words & senences of mymessages (like the hp I just bought two weeks ago. The HP October computer, in ddition, droze or frashed constantly, lost my mail, was useless for newpapaper reading (almost all nespapers), froze whe I wanted tomov o took me to unknown & unwanted sites. fille the computr with rogue fles & I could go on. Two weeks go, I purchased a "better " HP computer (see above). It also breaks my words & sentnces & it has alredy crashed twice. Conclusion As for tHP printer ipurchased in October, I kept freezing & finally diedfor good. Now, I have a Brother printer. Bye Bye, Hewlett Packard

Out of the box, my first impression of this HP Pavilion Touch Screen All-In-One was, this is a nice looking computer! The squared screen edges, the silver strip along the lower portion of the unit, the white keyboard & mouse is reminiscent of something you'd see as an ancillary room piece in a magazine about modern interior decorating. Setup was easy enough. I won't bore you with details, but the tech-less individuals shouldn't have any difficulty in getting up and running (relatively) quickly. Ordinarily, new computers are lightning fast because they aren't burdened with the task of loading several programs. But out of the box, I was a little disappointed by the performance of this unit. With reference to computers, speed = power. I didn't find this computer to be very powerful. Although, I did load and play a few games on it, and the graphics card held it's own with regard to refresh rates. The games played pretty smoothly, with very few hiccups or freezes. Not too shabby for a computer that doesn't profess to be a gaming machine. The keyboard is surprisingly sturdy and comfortable to use (but since it's white, keep your duster close by). The speakers in this unit aren't attention grabbing, but they'll get the job done if you don't have any better sound options. I like the monitor tilt feature. When not in use, I tilt the monitor forward to prevent dust buildup on the screen. Overall, I like this computer. This unit replaces my old All-In-One. Since my computer needs have diminished to just writing and web surfing, I don't need the powerhouse computers I used to build and upgrade years ago. This All-In-One is All-I-Need.
