Excellent desktop, but had malware

I bought Office 365 with it. When I tried to install Office, got an error message to call Microsoft tech support. It turned out that his was a 3rd party tech support firm that I had to pay $499 to fix the problem. It if wasn't for this I would have given it a 5 star rating.

Assembly is just plain simple. A few cables with obvious endpoints and you're up and running. The performance is, well, awesome. The Intel® Core™ i7-7700T really delivers in this system, and 12 GB of DDR4 memory gives Windows 10 and your applications plenty of room to run within. Having a touch screen is a new experience for me, and it takes a little while to get used to but if you're "old school" you don't have to use it. However, that would be leaving value on the sideline with this system. Touching is faster than the mouse once you become accustomed to it. The one thing that I would have rather seen in this system is an NVMe (some refer to it as PCI Express) 1TB SSD rather than a 1TB spinning hard drive with Intel's Optane "caching" SSD. Caching isn't perfect, and the price-points of SSDs are dropping. For another $200 or so, I would have preferred a pure SSD solution. Either way, you will not be disappointed with the performance of this system.

I purchased to replace an aging laptop that I was running business applications on. Although this one handles them just fine, my older HP laptop seems to run the programs faster. I think it may be the OPANE memory used in this all-in-one. Would I buy another one, yes. Would I look for different memory options, definitely.

I do video editing and it couldn’t handle adobe premier, it immediately started freezing and crashing programs. I’ve been a Mac user for a decade so I returned it and bought the iMac.

Geek Squad Manager Saved the Transaction

Unfriendly, Pretentious, and Condescending are the words that come to mind. Manager talked me into keeping it. We'll see.
