    I would not purchase this unit even for a student or just wanting something cheap. Skip it and pay a little more. This thing is pathetically slow and noisy. No chance of any upgrading as well. The motherboard is a tiny little thing with external power source like a laptop. Just skip it! I returned it within the 14 day period without issues. Although I was very disappointed in this unit. I can’t thank best buy enough for the no hassle ease of return and will continue to shop with them.

    Not totally pleased with this computer. There are issues that have nothing to do with my internet server. A lot if junk apps that I will never use comes with it.

    This PC is basically a newer version of the Pavillon I had which was a couple years old. First thing I noted was the cheapo CD-ROM drawer which is now vertical. Seems to be very cheaply made and requires two hands to attach a disk. Next was the fact that the PC did not appear to see the CD-ROM drive and when inserting a disk of any kind nothing happened. 2 hours with HP tech controlling my PC later, that was corrected. Now windows won't load when restarting most of the time.
