I was shopping for new home computer to replace my Dell Optiplex 760, which was no longer performing with the speed and power that I needed. I came across this HP desktop while researching information on various computers. I chose this machine because it's inexpensive, it has 8 gigs of RAM, and it's a small tower, but don't let the size fool you! This desktop is fast and does everything that I need it to do. From watching movies, to, surfing the web, to producing my podcasts, this HP, is up to the task. I'm very happy with my purchase, as I have been with everything that I've bought from Best Buy. Go out and get yourself this perfect little desktop, if you are shopping for another computer.

It was too slow even for just using facebook. Had to return it.

It is locked up on all my websites and I've talked to Webroot, etc.

Cheaply made. Already broken. Too late to return..

Purchased this desktop tower for $349.99 during a tax free weekend sale. This is my first desktop computer in over 10 years. Purposes of this computer was for school work, web browsing, and casual gaming and so far it's doing what its suppose to. I like the vast amount of storage space from the 1TB hard drive. the A8 processor and Raydeon R5 graphics card are ok to run basic games, but anything beyond that your either capable of running at very low settings or not at all. Web browsing, social media, YouTube, works great with no issues given you have a good strong internet connection. If your looking for a basic everyday computer with vast amounts of storage then I would recommend this desktop. Anything beyond that, such as intense gaming, I would recommend a different computer with a more powerful processor and graphics card. I hope this review helps!

This HP Computer is a very good computer. I purchased the pc and brought it home and had it up and running in less than 10 minutes. If your pc savvy you can uninstall programs you don't need and that in itself will make this excellent pc even faster. I have not had any problems with it at all. It starts up and shuts down very quickly. I am very impressed with how quiet it is. I haven't tried any intense gaming yet just to see how it does respond but this purchase was not intended for that anyway. I would recommend this pc to everyone that might not have a lot to spend on a high end pc, you won't be disappointed.

I'm a computer klutz. But even I find this fast and easy to use. In reference to another review, if you wish to play DVDs, simply download VLC media player. It's not the computers fault Windows 10 did not include the old media player. DVDs play fine as well as Netflix and YouTube. Web pages load super fast and my wife says the games she plays run very well. Super happy with this PC!

I bought this tower after I returned a HP laptop. I was looking for a replacement computer after my 2 year old Dell tower blew up from a power surge.This tower is serviceable if you're just looking for to do heavy MS Office related work, in addition to Graphic Design stuff. You can do some light gaming there and this but don't come expecting pop-eye graphics here. I will clarify: This is good for light gaming as in games that meets the minimum requirements as directed by game publishers. If you really want to play intense games like Battlefield 1 or DOOM 2016, you'd be better off spending more on a tower that has better specs than this. But if you're looking for a tower that meets your basic needs, then this tower is for you. I just wouldn't recommend doing anything crazy with this one if you're looking for heavy gaming use here. I rate this 4 stars. I hope this helps.

After shopping around to replace a PC that had died on me, I found this one at Best Buy...very good price and although I have not had it long, very good product. I am very satisfied with the purchase.

The computer works fine and I would give it a 5 star rating if it were not for the cheap compact keyboard that came with it. The keys are smaller than those on a standard size keyboard, not contoured, and closer together thus making touch typing far more difficult and slower. If you do not already have a full size keyboard from a prior computer, plan on purchasing a new one. Logitech offers several nice inexpensive models.

I bought this computer in the summer of 2016, and it is not a stable computer. The system would freeze and force restart for no reason. It would crash the system when running a virtual machine, even if the VM only use megabytes of the physical RAM it would still crash. Later on the processor went bad so I sent it to HP and they sent me a whole brand new computer. The same model. I set up the new unit and there was nothing wrong with the internal hardware at all and it did exactly everything the old unit did.

This computer is very good and the price was equally good. Nice running machine.

i bought the computer due to i don't really do any gaming and i am mainly into youtube and netflix. I dont use mcafee protection that is pre loaded on the computer. I use Nortons. I found many times for no real reason the system would completely lock up. since i bought it in october 2016 it would also be slow at times. finally yesterday i deleted the mcafee scan that auto opens. now the computer ;works fine. I hope this helps if anyone keeps locking up.

The 8GB of RAM and 2.2 Quad core make this computer awesome for multitasking. I can multitask pretty heavy games on pretty good graphic settings while also having YouTube playing music or whatever I want in the background. Wifi connectivity is strong and bluetooth is a neat feature to have on a tower. 5/5 best computer I've purchased.

I thought windows 10 would be hard to use but when the geek squad installed it I had no problem. and this is turning out the be one of the best computer I brought here and I have brought about seven.

This is as cheap as it gets! Nice computer. But do wish it came with office or word. Probably better off spending more to get what you want.

This computer does what I need it to do. The size is also nice.

My dell died & I needed a computer to work from home. Can't say a bad thing about it.
