I always buy HP computers, they never leave me down

This computer has many add-ons that I am not interested in learning to use ... for example, I always played solitaire ... there are many fancy versions ... had to look hard to locate basic solitaire

It was okay while it lasted. Had it about 3 years started to slow down in 5 months. After very little use

Good product, the reason I am giving 3 starts is because I already had to take it to Geek squad to fix the CD Rom.

This computer is awful. I have had problems with it and I have only had it for 18 days. Something is wrong.

Got this computer as an open box item. It is great for basic tasks like web browsing and email.

NEVER HAD A COMPUTER WITH SO MANY GLITCHES. JUST WHEN THE THING IS WORKING WELL SOMETHING HAPPENS. SLOW, PROGRAMS "NOT RESPONDING" ETC ETC. PAID A LOT TO HAVE VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS TAKE OVER AND TRY TO CORRECT THE PROBLEM. WOULD LOOK FOR A DELL OR ANYTHING BUT A HP

Average computer. It sometimes bogs down and becomes very slow.

Pretty good computer for basic tasks email web browsing etc

The hard drive died after only one year. It was mfg in 2017, but the desktop was no purchased until 2/2018. Not a good lifespan. Will replace the HD with a Western Digital, not the OEM Seagate.

After a small crisis the computer ends up being incredible (with a few additions). The first one I got would not continue booting up after signing in with my password. Best Buy immediately exchanged it for another and they were very helpful. The new unit booted up fine and worked great. I did find that I had to replace the tiny keyboard immediately with a full sized one. The I3 processor combined with the DDR4 RAM is fast. however with a few browswer windows opened I found I was maxing out the 4GB RAM that came with the unit. everything got very sluggish. so I spent $50 and bought one more 4GB RAM and installed it in the second slot. this was the solution. everything is keeping up with my every move no matter how many windows I have open. granted I'm not gaming. but the i3 combined with the 8GB is way fast for all I'll need. As far as Windows 10....at first I disliked it and did not enjoy the layout etc. but after I spent some time getting to know it and learning where everything was and where all the features I regularly use are...I'm actually finding it better and more useful and safer than Windows 7. I've got shortcuts on my desktop for everything. I do use Corona and the mic search feature even though I hate that I'm stuck with Bing bringing up my results instead of google. I also find that all the utilities run much faster. disc cleanup, hard disc error check, windows update, backup. all much faster than in 7. So after the lemon was returned and after I got a bit more RAM and a new keyboard I am very happy with my new computer. love it. and I still got it for about $150 less then it normally sells for. it was offered for $100 off during one of best buy's weekly ad sales. Plus then buying and installing my own RAM was only $50. highly recommend this unit. especially if you see it on sale.

worked okay when first set it up but after a few weeks it begin to lag and took a while to boot up. only really used it browsing the internet and checking emails.

It takes anywhere from on one to two hours from turning it on to when it actually comes on. It should come on right away.

After not even 18 months of ownership, this computer completely died. It had been getting slower and slower, until today it stopped working completely. I don't game, mostly just use very basic pieces of Office along with a few other minor programs (think financials or downloads for school). That's it.

the keyboard that come with this computer is horrible. very cheap and the looking.

this hard drive is slower then my old refurbished hard drive. crashes all the time
