Good controller but came defective

We procrastinated returning it, then one day it mysteriously started back working. My daughter still uses it to this day.

But it completely crapped out on me less than 2 months after purchase. Not charging or powering on at all anymore. I've tried contacting the manufacturer since I'm past Best Buy's return period, but no luck getting a response about their 2 year warranty. Total waste of money :(
