Bought this for my daughter and she loves it! The rgb that it has glowing while use is cool and it works just as well as you would expect along with having paddle buttons underneath for games that require!

cutest controller, feels super sturdy, lights up red when charging and green when full which I thought was a cute way to easily show status. prefer this over my old pro controller

We’ve been using the PDP Afterglow Wave Wireless Controller for Nintendo Switch every single day, especially for our Smash Bros. sessions, and it has been nothing short of amazing! The controller feels incredibly responsive, with zero lag, making those fast-paced matches so much more enjoyable. The button layout is comfortable and intuitive, and the analog sticks are smooth, offering great precision for those tricky maneuvers. What really makes this controller stand out is the stunning afterglow feature. The LED lighting is vibrant and adds an extra layer of fun, especially when playing in the dark. It’s like the controller is just as alive as the game! We’ve also found that the battery life holds up well even after hours of use, so we’re never left scrambling for a charge mid-battle. The wireless connection is rock solid, and we’ve had no issues with connectivity or interference during gameplay. This controller is great. It has cool colors, feels good in the hands, and no lag when playing games. The only thing it can’t do is turn on the switch but at this price range that’s fine.

For the price and quality this is a great controller. No, it doesnt have ammibo, motion or rumble but it's still a great controller over the joycons, especially for adult hands. It has a nice heavy and durable feel, charges in about an hour, plays for hours and hours, and the color/wave feature is customizable and cool. I didn't give 5 stars because the box doesn't include a manual and the QR code on the box sends you to a link with many controller manuals but none of them are for this one. You have to go to PDP's website, find the controller and download the manual from there. Not everyone will think to do this, so no paper instructions and a QR code link that doesn't include the manual, is poor on PDP in my opinion. And didn't get 5 stars because there is no battery life indicator on the controller itself and this doesn't show in the controller status on the switch, either. Otherwise, great option over the more heavily priced controllers.

Comfortable to hold, the rainbow transition is the exact reason I picked this above others and its perfect without being too invasive compared to other light up controllers. Super easy to connect and typically doesn't take too long to charge (even when being used as it charges). I haven't touched any of my other pro controllers ever since getting this one

I play TONS of video games, so naturally I need a controller that is comfortable, wireless and cool. When I first saw the Afterglow, I knew I needed it. I bought it right on the spot. The cool white with the vivid colors make for a visually awesome controller. Comfort is key when playing, and the Joy-Cons are just uncomfortable. I always upgrade to the pro controllers. The Afterglow has the same sleek design as the pro controller from Nintendo, with just a couple of the middle buttons switched around. The one drawback is that it has no motion controls. However, it is about 20 dollars cheaper than the pro controller. All-in-all, a comfortable, sleek and pleasing addition to controllers.

Bought this nee controller about 3 weeks ago. Needed a new controller to play smash with friends. It is not heavy like the Pro Controller, it is light weight. The colors when you turn it on are amazing and cool (if you like the colors of course) and when it is charging, the color turns read. Pretty cool controller, from light weight to colors. I liked the controller, might buy the other white color now :)

The PDP Afterglow series are historically good controllers with fun backlit functionality, and this is no exception. For the price, this controller functions well. The only things it lacks that a Nintendo-branded Pro controller has are the Amiibo reader and a native plug-and-pair option - my wife and I tried to connect it to her dock by plugging it in and ended up having to unpair ALL of her controllers just to pair this one manually. Aside from that minor hiccup, the controller has functioned well and has a good lifespan to its rechargeable battery.

My previous controllers started to drift so it was time to buy new ones and this bad boy caught my eye. The colors and bright and vibrant and it charged quickly. The battery life between charged did not disappoint.

Wife loves it, I liked it too I bought myself the purple one. Long battery even with the glow. Glows red when charging, rainbow when in use.
