This is a decent headset for the price. I like that the boom mic goes up to mute and down to talk. The roll up volume dial is also a nice feature. However, as many people have said, the volume does not go up very high. I play Call of Duty online and have the PS4 settings set on theater mode (loudest option) and volume up to 100. With the volume dial cranked all the way up on the headset. Having done all this, the volume is adequate and I can make do, but it would be nice if it could go a little louder. You will also hear more highs than lows or midrange sound. I would rate the bass at 5 out of 10, midrange at 4 out of 10, and highs at 10 out of 10. The mic works fine, but it is hard to hear other player's voices at times since the highs are so pronounced. My biggest issue is the ear holes. They are also round, rather than oval. I have averaged size ears and have to fold my ears into it to fit. It gets uncomfortable after an hour or so. As a casual gamer, usually a couple hour a few times a week, this works for me. But if you game a lot, I'd probably recommend something else. I would also say this is suited more for younger people or kids due to the ear size and volume limitations.

If you have an open mic and speakers, these are a must have! They work very good.
