I've never used anything like this before. The stick covers are nice, but the extended triggers are awesome. I've destroyed several controllers because of the triggers breaking, and these have kept my newest controller alive for a long time now. Well worth the money.

After playing God of War and Castlevania I found that the use of the R2 and L2 triggers were annoying when they were needed. These made opening gates in GOW and fighting the Ice Titan in Castlevania less annoying since you have better control on the triggers between rapid tapping to constant holding. They hold up very nicely and have never came off no matter how rough I get, short of throwing the controller at the floor. I'm 5'6" and I would definitely recommend this for people who are not comfortable using the R2/L2 triggers with their middle finger or pointer finger which was what I used to do since my middle finger kept slipping off, not anymore. If you experience any sharp corners on the triggers, 10 seconds with sand paper will fix it.

I am a convert to the PS3 from XBOX. I still prefer the slight feel of a XBOX however and these add-ons for $5 was by far the smarter move then buying a different style controller.

i personally love these things. at 5 bucks (which is cheap) these things are a must. yeah its only two pieces of plastic, but they make such a big difference! ive had mine for close to 2 years now and wont play without them and im buying a set for my extra control, cuz everyone who uses my control love them and so im just going to outfit my extra control with'em too! also if your not hulk'n out on your buttons while you play you will have no problem with them staying on. they've only come off on me when i have dropped my control!

The remote works great. It is really steady and durable.

We saw this kit on sale and bought it because we had a $5 certificate that was due to expire. Turned out to be a great decision! We didn't know what we were missing until we tried these. All my kids thought the finger position was more natural with the trigger extensions installed. We think the Xbox 360 controller has better overall ergonomics than the Dualshock 3 but these little doodads make it a closer contest. Most surprising is the fact that these have never popped off accidentally,

I stumbled on these the same day Modern Warfare 2 was released and to be honest i was never looking for these. But very glad i purchase it because after the way the controller feels adding these bad boys to it make my whole FP game picked up online very well with my grenades and flash bangs etc....

Becareful about purchasing these. Unless you can afford to outfit all of your controllers with them, you maybe should wait. I bought one set, and that controller is now covetted over all others. Sony, take note, this is how you should have made the controllers in the first place. Great product.

Since getting my first PS3, I've been looking for a better solution to the poorly designed L2/R2 shoulder buttons. I found these at the local Best Buy and figured they would solve the issue. The good: They are very sturdy and easy to install. The bad: They're not very comfortable. After installing, they would often pinch my hand during games which require a lot of L2/R2 shoulder button usage. They also extend the overall width of the shoulder buttons by a slight amount which can make them uncomfortable to use during games which require a lot of use of all four shoulder buttons. The so-so: They're $4.99 for simple plastic. Granted, that's not a lot, but for simple molded plastic they could easily be half this price.

This is a great little addition to the PS3 controller. This should hopefully be added to future PS Controllers. Helps with button presses which use the R2 or L2 buttons. You no longer feel like you have to fully push in the button to see maximum results. Pieces clip on and stay on unless dropped from 4-5 feet. If you do drop get ready for a long search for lost pieces. Great addition and would recommend to all.

These kickers should be on every PS3 controller you own. They make the R2 and L2 buttons more comfortable and easier to use by turning them into triggers. They can be a little tough to snap on but they seem to be built solid so it didn't seem hurt them or the controller.

This comes with both the concave plastic caps for the L2/R2 triggers, and rubber caps with rings for the analog sticks. The rubber caps do a great job of minimizing the chance of slipping your thumb off of the stick. The covers are not concave like on the Xbox 360 controller, though. The trigger caps are a good idea, but the way they are made offset the benefit it gives. The best thing about the caps are that there is zero chance of slipping your fingers off of the L2/R2 triggers with these caps on. The curvature of the caps is too high at the back. This makes it difficult to hit with middle fingers from the rear while using L1/R1 buttons with the index fingers at the same time. Also, the back of the caps are all right-angled instead of rounded. To me, this makes it uncomfortable to use because I rest my index or middle fingers behind the L2/R2 triggers. After a month of use, I no longer use the concave caps, but I am still using the rubber covers for the sticks.

My brother recommended these to me and I figured for the price I would try it out on one. I have to get a second set now because I only play with the controller that has them. It is a little difficult to get them on the first time. but worth the frustration.

This helps me a lot when i am playing shooters and action. Its easy to snap on for $1

I don't know why Sony made the triggers the way they are on the stock PS3 controller, but these alleviate their shortcomings for a measly five bucks! A soft touch overmold or coating would have been icing on the cake...

Now that I have them I don't know how I lived without them. With these you can feel the difference between the buttons. So now I don't hit the wrong button by mistake.

I saw these and thought what the heck, I'll try them. I am glad I did! it makes the controller feel more comfortable in your hands, and you fingers don't slip off the buttons. These are a must have for racing games.

These small add-ons make a HUGE difference to the DS3. The controller feels better and using the R2 and L2 is much better. I'm an R2-shooter guy and playing Resistance 2 is great with these add-ons. Cheap too. Sony should have added these babies with the DS3.
