This is a pretty decent controller that copies the old gamecube controller design. Only problem is that you need to hook it into a Wii mote.

I didn't realize I needed other controllers to plug these into to use them. I thought they plugged right there into game

It's a good design and feels good in your hands but in only works for a few games - unlike the pro-controller

Works Great. Just plug into the Wii remote and it works. My son can play Pokken Tournement on the WiiU with the remote.

I bought this cause I couldn't find the adapter to use with Game Cube controls and was relieved to find it works just the same.

This is a nice classic gamecube controller for WII. It has a nice Zelda Theme design.

I got this for my 3 yr old son so he could do more moves on smash bros. and splatoon, he absolutely loves it...

Dont be wary of this being a third party controller. Works just as good as all nintendo brand ones i have used

Needed one of these controllers in order to play Zelda on my wii and it works as intended. No issues so far.

this controller is well bit. I like that it plugs into the wiimote and not the gamecube adapter.

While a decent substitute for a game cube controller, it is not without its faults: the buttons feel kind of rigid at times when compared to the most nicer feeling GameCube controller. But stil a better controller in general than the standard Wii classic controller. The GameCube controller is still the better option should you have the adapter.
