It’s hard to believe this remote is an aftermarket product. It is very well made and works very well. No set up required. It just works. I would buy this again if mine broke, which I doubt would happen because of the quality of this product.

I love the size, feel and construction of this remote. It works well especially with my cable TV connected. I also love the sensor that activates the back light. Great product.

Xbox Media remote works exactly as it should, turns xbox on and off, controls the dashboard, netflix etc... with no issues.

Or use my Xbox one S as a 4K Blu-ray media player. This remote works great. Especially in a dark room. When you move the remote all the keys light up so you can easily see what you're looking for. Much easier to control a DVD or movie with this remote them with the controller from Xbox

Overall this is a nice remote for the Xbox One S. Much easier when watching discs, than using standard controller. As others have mentioned, volume adjustment is spotty. I find you can raise and lower by tapping repeatedly. It's pretty nice how the Xbox will control your TV, and receiver. (Panasonic TV, Denon receiver in my case... also worked with Onkyo) So when you turn your Xbox on or off, the other components will follow. We had a media remote for our PS3, so for sure wanted one for Xbox. That didn't control anything but the console, so this is actually a step up. Just hoping down the line, the volume will work better.

I have a LG OLED, and the LG "smart" app selection is abysmal. I already had a Xbox One X hooked up to the TV, so I bought this to use it for a media player than than picking up a Fire TV/Shield TV/Roku device. I believe the remote is IR, so it needs a direct line of sight to the Xbox One, but it still works pretty well. The battery life seems pretty good, I haven't had to need to change them yet 6+ months later.

This remote is nothing super special. Your Xbox controller can do everything this remote does..... But is way less intuitive. For straight up movie watching on your Xbox One this device makes navigating, pausing, playing, and just general use so much easier and more intuitive. Yes I can do all the same things with my Xbox controller, but I have a hard time remembering what all the buttons are mapped to for movie playback. This remote takes out the guess work and in my opinion is well worth the sub 30 dollar price.

Works really well with Xbox. No need to do pairing. Just press the home button and it powers up the Xbox - at least that's what happened for me. The only thing is you can't "unpair" it. If you have another Xbox in the same room, the remote will turn on both consoles. My room mate is not happy about that haha. I covered the infrared on his console so my remote won't trigger his console. Very easy to use. Buttons are not hard to press. I'm happy with the purchase.

good remote I like the light easier to use at night I would like it to have more functions like eject the disk pretty good for the price

Out of the box, point and use. Easy with no set up. Most definitely would recommend this item. Use on any Xbox One without any change.

I bought this remote because of all the features this one has that the Microsoft one left out, I guess they thought we didn't need them but I for one used them on the 360 remote so this one was really my only choice with the bonus of being much cheaper and I got it on sale to boot! It was very easy to connect to the Xbox and it works fantastic for movies or just surfing on the Xbox network. If your like me and just want a remote that does everything for your Xbox one then pdp is the remote you need.

I purchased this remote to rid myself of using several remotes. Also, it is perfect for watching tv through your xbox console. Is much easier to navigate with the remote rather a than an xbox one controller. The is only one downside but not a deal breaker. I have problems controlling my volume up and down. More works fine. All other buttons work fine as well. I'm assuming it's just a passing problem with my receiver (Pioneer). I don't believe i had this problem with my Samsung sound bar. Other than that great price and great product.

Seriously sad the PS4 one isn't this cool! Easy set up, lights up upon touch, very good size for comfort! Definitely recommend!

Nothing special here - it just works as it should. I should add one caveat though - unlike the XBOX controllers, this remote must have a line of sight with the XBOX itself. I have my AV equipment in a closet which is where the XBOX goes, and the remote wasn't working, I do have IR extenders so I was able to make sure the extenders were pointing at the XBOX, but if you plan on hiding your XBOX, just know that you will need IR extenders in order to make this work for you.

Bought this for watching netflix and other streaming on xbox. It works as you would expect. It has an auto power saving feature for the remote and the buttons illuminate when the remote senses movement like when you pick it up. That being said the light is a soft glow in dark rooms. I have had it for a few months and i am on the same batteries with daily use. This is exactly what i was looking for and it feels solid. It will likely last longer than the xbox.

You really can't go wrong with this remote. Easy to use, looks sharp, and provides the convenience the xbox controller does not.

So I wasn’t looking for this remote when I was shopping for one for my Xbox one X. I wanted something smaller. The sales people at Best Buy told me this, at $20 was a good buy with more options than the smaller remote. This thing works great and lights up making it easy to see the buttons. There was no set up with the exception of putting batteries in it. It’s nice when a product works out of the box perfect and this remote did just that. 10/10!!

My wife and kids use it to watch their shows on the Xbox. It saves my battery life and is super user friendly.
