This is the best remote I use ever. I have three Xbox one (one of them is Xbox one S), and this remote recognizes all of them without the need to sync. It has backlit and it lights up automatically when my hand is close to it, so I can enjoy me movie in the dark without turning on the light for using this remote. The functional buttons are adequate for my purpose. I am glad that I bought this remote instead of relying on the original Xbox one controller for watching movies.

Not much to say about this item that isn’t already assumed prior to purchase. It is easy to set up, the illumination feature that activates when the remote senses motion is cool and has worked for me the entire time I have owned the remote. All the buttons have worked well and feel solid when pressed. I have one for my system upstairs and another for my system downstairs and I am very happy with the purchase of each

Its a great remote and saves my controller batteries but it is IR so it need to be able to point at your xbox.

Great remote! Pairs very easily with the xbox one S. Buttons are a little stiff but definitely worth overlooking for its ease of use.

Bought this for my wife to use while I’m at work. Super easy to use and we love the backlight feature.

I'm always iffy on buying 3rd party remote controls, but this remote is priced right and works perfectly. I have a tiny quibble tho, not worth deducting a star for and that is the arrow keys are so flush with the sides of the remote, you find yourself double checking that your finger is on the right place. That aside, it makes controlling your XBox a breeze, and it's essential if you regularly use the streaming apps such as Hulu.

So perfect and easy to use. It lights Up but doesn’t effect battery life

We redid my son's "entertainment" area and made his Xbox 1 the hub for all things entertainment. So, we wanted a remote to use other than the gaming controller. We ran accros the Xbox original and this one. This was cheaper, but also longer. My thought was it would be harder to lose. It has a few more buttons then the Xbox version. This remote works well and is much eaiser to navigate with than using the game controler.

I use my Xbox as my media center and the wife was not digging the controller while accessing her shows. The remote has made life easy again and she is a happy lady! Works great.

My family uses the Xbox one for most media entertainment (Netflix, YouTube, etc.) And the power saving feature on standard xbox one controllers was always so annoying. Considering every time you would go to do something with it you would have to first turn the controller on. That alone makes this product worth the buy, but it has other perks besides that. The motion sensing back light being one of them. Overall definitely worth the money.

This is a nice one and very easy to use and the slim design is easy to hold.

I love that it controls the TV and volume. The backlight makes it easy to see in the dark.

I have the shorter version of this controller and felt that some "essential" buttons were lacking so I decided to give that remote away and buy this one. This one has the benefit of the controller (the A, B, Y, X buttons). The short one didn't, not like it was a problem but it is nice to have the buttons there. Overall, I love both the short remote and this one but this one I feel like is much easier to control a cable box.

wanted something to reduce the wear and tear on my controllers. From opening package to getting up and running was under 1 minute. i have both Xbox one and PS4 the button mapping for video play back on the standard game controllers is quite different for each system,, no more flubbing video play back with my family.Would recomend this if you use your system for blue ray playback. Would buy again.
