The remote is great for me because I know the meaning of the symbols. For my wife she doesn't know the symbols some writing on the remote would be nice

I bought this on sale for $10. I use my Xbox One S mainly for movies and this remote is a must for me. I wish it was shorter. I don't need the numbers or most of the other butttons; play/pause, volume, navigation, that's it. The look and soft rubbery feel of the remote is very nice and the led backlighting is awesome.

Great remote. We really nee 23rd this for our xbox. We do so much more than gaming and this is so handy to have available.

I really like this remote! It lights up and really looks nice! Only issue, the directional buttons are a bit stiff but other than that it's great!

Pick this remote up at best buy for my xbox one s and its awesome. Works great when watching movies and it controls the tv so I only have to have one remote for everything. You do have to have the xbox one that has the sensor or have a kinect for it to work with tv. Other than that great accessory.

As my Xbox is the center of my home theater, I needed a remote to allow me to operate my Xbox, cable box and receiver without the controller. Very happy with this. Enjoying the backlights on this. My only gripe is that the ring in the center of the remote is not responsive as I wish it was. Still, for under $20, I feel it is well worth with what it brings to the table.

The remote is great. Me and my roommates use that instead of a controller which saves battery life. BUT, putting in the batteries the first time it’s a giant pain in the ***. The back of the remote takes a little finagling because it’s so smooth. After that it’s awesome and the batteries will last a long time

This new remote for the XBox is fantastic! It does everything and is so much better than the simple old remote offered for the XBox One. The buttons are a little small and I’m having to learn the location and function of them, but the backlite on the keys certainly helps out at night or in low light areas.

Sometimes the old-fashioned controller just doesn't do the trick. What's really cool about Xbox One is that you can literally run your TV through it, and for applications like Hulu or Netflix somehow holding the game controller just doesn't seem right. This remote allows more of a media entertainment kind of feel. Worth it!

I use my Xbox One to watch a lot of YouTube, movies and TV shows. This Remote is perfect for using your Xbox as a entertainment system. It is easier than using your regular Xbox controller that turns off after a while. This one stays on all the time and lasts forever on batteries. The volume control is also a big plus!

Love this remote. The keypad lights up with any motion making it easy to use in the dark of a home theater room. My wife hates Xbox controllers (she's a video game hater) but she likes this for use in streaming from Hulu, Sling, Netflix or any kind of TV and movie apps on the Xbox. I do too.

I've had it for almost 7 months now, I love having it since I don't really play video games, I just bought a one S to be my entertainment center media device. the Talon works quickly, batteries last about 4 months, only problem is that the battery cover doesn't stay on now. It's got slide locks that have just worn down so it falls off regularly.

This remote works great because it has the extra buttons and controls the tv volume. Great for xbox and your tv.

This one is better than the official Xbox remote. It has more buttons and it seems that it has stronger IR than the official remote

This is much easier to use for playing media than the standard Xbox controller. However, the typical stop/pause/play buttons don't always seem to want to work with the movie players. Instead, you have to use the d-pad in the middle and the Xbox "a,b,x,y" buttons. That's a little annoying.

I cut the cord and stream video through several Xboxes throughout my home. My mother in law was not in favor of using a controller. A remote control interface such as this was more familiar and she was happy with this solution. I will purchase additional remotes for all TV's!

Having used the other smaller Xbox remote, I wasn't keen on spending money on a new one. However, this is a fantastic controller, other for blu/4K control, but streaming, and especially for easy access to OneChannel. Easy to handle, buttons are placed well, and does everything you'd want from a normal TV remote.

My husband and kids are notorious for not turning controllers off. I was very happy with this I can use on either Xbox in our house and no need to sync. The downside is you do have to point it at the Xbox in order for it to work but I really like how easy it's been to use.

Much better than the Microsoft smaller Xbox remote. I lost it and found this one and like it much better.
