This remote is awesome for when you just want to stream, no need to use a gaming controller

My son was happy to receive this gift. It allows him to control his xBox while watching Netflix, etc. without having to drain the battery on a game controller. I like the backlit buttons, that's always a nice touch especially in a dark room.

I've only had this remote for about a week and already am used to where the buttons are located. Overall this is a good quality build and feels just like the original juts bigger and more options. The only thing I feel that is missing, is a way to get to my DVR on cable box. I can record a show but then can't retrieve it.

Overall I'm very satisfied with this remote. I just put in the batteries a d it worked with my Xbox. The backup lot buttons makes finding them easier in the dark. Volume control doesn't seem to work, though I have my speakers plugged into my controller which is probably the issue.

This is a must have for people how use their console for movies. No one needs to know how to run a controller.

Works well, and it’s cool it lights up when the controller senses motion, but it dims in less than 2 seconds.

It has motion-lit keys and feels good with responsive buttons that give great feedback.

I got this remote over the official one because it was slightly cheaper. After using it for some time now, I have found that it works perfectly. It feels good in your hand, buttons are satisfying, has good battery life, and is backlit (but only when you pick it up)!

Very useful for watching movies on my Xbox one s. As for the reviews that it won't control the TV volume you have to have the kinect, but that is clearly printed on the box that it comes in. I have the kinect and it controls my TV and my audio receiver volume with no problems.

Great remote. Batteries seem to not last as long due to the button lights coming on every time it is moved.

Works like it is supposed to. I have only two complaints about it: First: It is direct IR, meaning you have to point it directly at the console to work. Second: the console doesn't register it as a controller, meaning you cannot have it auto-login. Other then that, it is a good buy.

This remote is handy when you just don't have the drive or energy to use the controllers for the Xbox's other features. It was a lifesaver for me when I was stuck in bed due to surgery healing again. So glad my spouse got this!

This remote is a must-have if you use your Xbox One to play movies or use streaming apps. I am using on the Xbox One X and it works great. It has all the necessary buttons. The only downside is the battery life is shorter than I would like because of the backlit buttons.

Very good remote - responsive, backlit and easy to use with number buttons to enter passkeys. It's the only one I use now, since it is able to control the volume on my TV and my Xbox One S is able to turn TV on and off along with itself using this remote.

if you don’t want to use your controller this is the next option for controlling the functions on your Xbox. Best part is for inputting your passkey using the numerical pads instead of your button combinations on your controller when you log into your account.

Remote works well. Only issue is you need to hold it almost even with the Xbox, so sometimes you need to press the button a few times to get it to work. Other than that, its great and keeps me from turning the controller on just to watch streams or television.

I popped the batteries in and pointed at my Xbox One S and I was able to control everything with no issue. I use the Xbox to stream 4k Netflix and other things, the remote is so much easier for watching shows. Great price and great deal Recommended!!!

remote works good, only complaint is that the back button doesn't go to last channel in the HDhomerun app, but that might be an app issue. Also its kinda of narrow and button placement for my hands is cramped. I think I have average size hands, definitely bigger than trumps. For $15 or less it's worth it.

Find it easier to control my movies rather than using the controller

I have been resisting buying a remote since my past experiences have been horrible to put it in a nice way. This remote is great it has a backlight so you don’t need to turn the lights to pause a movie. Skipping scenes is an effortless task now!
