This is way better than Sony’s. I have both Xbox one s and PS4 and both remotes. This one glows in the dark when motion is used for it. It also turns my tv on and off, volume up and down and changes the channel. I need no remotes now. It’s awesome

Remote works perfectly with both of our Xbox One X’s. I can walk from one room to another and not worry about dealing with pairing. The illumination is nice at night because it’s bright enough to see the buttons without lighting up the room.

I love this remote for my Xbox! I don't have to get out my bulky controller just to stream some Netflix. I love that it lights up when I pick it up so I can see all the buttons when I need to use it. The design is sleek and fits perfectly with my other remotes.

I actually love this remote, so much easier to use and less bulky that a xbox controller and everything just works, no config needed. It controls the channels from one guide, changes to volume on my amp. I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner.

This remote worked straight out of the box and lets me manipulate the Xbox without having to turn on a remote, which is convenient since as use the Xbox as a media center. Also it lights up when its picked up which makes it very easy to use in low light.

This is a great way to use your xbox without having to use the game controller if you are using it to play a Blu-ray disc or even a cd. It even lights up when you move it. The only complaints I have are that it doesn't stay lit up long enough, and the buttons are a bit small.

I bought this mainly so i could plug my headset in and watch tv with the tv muted, and only listen through my headset (Some Roku tvs have this feature). This is a great accessory to have for your XBox One. It allows to save battery in your controllers. It has playback specific buttons for movies. It also lights up when moved so that it is easy to see what you’re doing in the dark.

The remote works as expected, although a lot of times I find it easier to use the controller-

So I share an account with my son and using the gaming controller would always kick him out of his account. Using this controller allows me to turn in and off the Xbox and same capabilities without having to kick him out of his games.

Immediately pairs itself with your Xbox one, more options for you than the official Microsoft brand remote. Been using this remote for about three months and have no complaints. Also happy that the touch to back light sensor feature is also available.

We use our Xbox One X for everything, Netflix, Hulu, HBO and of course gaming. Using the Xbox game pad is fine and does the trick but we couldn’t control the volume on our soundbar our use standard play/pause. This thing for $20 solved it.

Makes it so much more simple to turn on and watch movies or shows on the XBOX. No of letting the controller turn off due to inactivity or running down batteries. If you own an Xbox One this is a must have if you use Movie or show apps.

It's a good remote and will offer all the functionalities you need. I like that its motion sensitive and will light up when you move it. The only negative is responsiveness and tactile feel of the buttons. The navigation arrows are hard to press. Other then that, it's a great product.

Picked this up on sale. Works great. I really like the back lit on the controller. It lights up every time you move it so you know what buttons to push in the dark. My only complaint is the back lit does not stay on long enough. Wish it lasted a couple of extra seconds.

I bought this mainly as a remote to control blu-ray playback functions as well as apps within the XBOX One. I am not trying to control anything other than my XBOX One and it works perfect. Connected right out of the box once I installed the batteries.

Overall I like this remote, but there are a couple of odd choices in the design. First, the whole back has to be taken off to change the batteries. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad choice yet as I haven't had it long enough, but it was strange to need to remove the entire back of the remote. It's also the only remote I've had that has a rubber coating the way this does. It makes the grip pretty easy, but I'm not sure it was necessary. It seems like it will show dirt easier and possibly wear out a bit sooner than normal, but again I've not had it long enough for that to happen yet. The functions themselves are what you'd expect. Keep in mind you have to download the "blu ray player" app to the Xbox before it will actually play movies. Once you've done that the remote will work all of the blu ray functions. It is also great for the many, many TV apps available on the Xbox one. Those functions will be what you use it for the most, and it's well-designed to handle them.

This remote has been very good to me. Great battery life (pair included with mine). Very functional instantly and basically required no setup with my actual console. It took a second to get the battery cover off, but not a major hassle.
