I bought this to replace an insignia remote with keyboard because it kept eating batteries and not working. So far this has been an excellent remote. My only complaint is the location of the back button is hard to reach when using primarily the arrow wheel. All in all good remote.

We bought this not knowing how much we would actually use it. We digitally stream tv and it makes things so much easier to search and change channels. We even control our sound bar and all the functions on the Xbox One X. Very pleased.

Good remote. Lights up. However, sliding down the face to replace the batteries sometimes results in a little plastic piece breaking which is annoying. I've went through nearly 3 of these now. Perhaps add a protection plan?

For anyone who watches movies on an Xbox One, this remote is must! It can control the volume of your amp, control all video functions, and even has the XYAB buttons if something requires them. Its a very good remote for the price!

Picked up remote and has met expectations. Very happy with purchase.

Made purchase since it was difficult using standard Xbox controller to properly use DVD player. Setup was very easy & has been a breeze to control my BluRay / DVD's since. Would highly recommend if planning on using your Xbox to play discs.

I was getting tired of using the controller during movies, so instead I purchased this remote. What a great investment. The remote looks, feels, and performs like a regular remote, and it even lights up so you can see the buttons in the dark.

Definitely what I wanted. BUT, in order for it to work with everything else like volume, TV etc you need the kinect hooked up as well. I dont have one so it's limited. Still works pretty well. Only other concern is the range is not that good

I purchased this remote for my new Xbox one so I could watch movies without using my game controller. The new remote works great and saves me batteries that I would wear out in my controller. The remote has motion-sensing backlighting that makes it easy to find in low light.

I was tired of using my Xbox one controller and having it turn off when I didn’t use it for awhile. This remote is perfect- I don’t have to constantly turn it back on and when I need to use it, the back light comes on so it’s perfect for a darkened room.

Great for watching videos or shows on netflix hulu YouTube and funimation what I used it for instead turning in my controller and draining my battery. The batteries last longer in the xbox remote

Must have for all XBox owners if you use if for movies. The backlight feature is amazing. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is that getting the back off to change batteries has got to be the worst ever.

This remote is a must if you use your Xbox for media or movies.

My son loved this remote for his tv and his Xbox One. This is a very good product.

Worth the money to use this for TV control if using xbox to stream to TV! You can use the xbox controller but its not intuitive for someone who doesn't play games with it. For a Mom, its better to buy the traditional style remote.

Great addition to my Xbox One and love the universal features

I mainly bought this so I can control the volume on my XBOX ONE through my receiver. Mission accomplished. But after using it, I wish it had a DVR button and a record button so that it can replace my DIRECTV remote. Otherwise, great and easy to use.

I don’t play Xbox like my son and husband do, so when using the Xbox to watch Blu-ray’s it was hard for me to use the regular controller. This makes it so easy, just like a regular Blu-ray or dvd remote!
