First of all, I love the soft touch and the backlit keys!! Not only are they back lit, but they light up once you touch the remote which makes a tone of sense! Every remote that's backlit should light up in this manner. I'll give the buttons a 4 out of 5 on responsiveness and a 5 out of 5 on features. You can control your tv, satellite/cable box & audio receiver with this remote-it learns them flawlessly. It controls the media features of your Xbox much better than the game controller does. If you're gonna use your Xbox for more than just to play games this remote is a must have to get the most out of the media side of your Xbox One!

It does everything it says. I bought this remote only to navigate while watching tv through the Xbox. I can’t change the volume or use the # button because I’m usig my tv providers app. But it does justice.

I’ve had a different, more expensive remote for my Xbox before and was worried that if I got this cheaper one it was be inferior. This remote is much larger than my last one and I love it.

Cheapest price all around. Both storefronts or online vendors like amazon. Also had store promotion of instant $5 off so made it a no brainer for those that uses xbox 1 as blu ray player as well.

This remote works exactly as advertised without a single problem. I'm glad I bought this one instead of the smaller version. The additional buttons on this one make navigation much easier.

I love this remote control. Makes it very convenient when trying to install a game without having to turn on your Xbox controller, not to mention if I'm watching Netflix or a DVD, makes it very easy to navigate

Great for watching movies on your Xbox. Makes it easier to play/pause since I can never remember which buttons on the controller does what when playing a movie.

This remote allows my other half and my daughter to access the xbox without using the controller. It works great if you are just trying to access media apps on the xbox.

Nice little remote my wife loves it because she does not have to use the game console controller especially when she is watching TV. The feel and touch of the remote is great.

I bought this because I figured it would be easier than pulling out my controller every time I wanted to watch a movie. It works as advertised and is definitely more convenient. Good purchase.

I love this remote. It makes me want to turn on the Xbox to view my television viewing aps. So much better than using the controller. I especially love how it lights up when you move it.

Does everything you'd hope, my only complaint is that it's IR instead of Bluetooth like the controllers, so you have to have a line of sight for it to work, and I like to have the unit behind a cabinet door.

So much easier to use YouTube TV, Netflix and other apps with the Xbox using this remote than the old method with the gaming controller. Should have bought this long ago

Bought this to use for media type duties on the the XBox and couldn’t be happier. Love the backlight when lifted,and makes navigation much simpler than trying to use a gaming remote.

I've been using the Talon Media remote for about a month now and I love it. It works without pairing and lights up when you touch it to easily navigate the buttons in the dark.

This makes using the Xbox as a media center so much better. Nice that you can sit it on the couch and it doesn't start fast forwarding or rewinding on accident like the controller can do.

Bought this for my Xbox 1s because I use the Xbox for movie watching and was tired of having to use the gamepad as a controller. This remote works great for movie night.

Great price for the remote. auto sync w my smart T.V to work w my xbox, save battery life on the XBOX game control, as this stand alone control works fine w the apps.

Works great with my Xbox One. My old remote died and I picked this one up as an impulse buy. It is easy to use and has already survived being dropped on the hardwood floor several times.

This remote is a great addtion to the Xbox system. I love how you can push one button on the remote and it turns on the Xbox as well as the tv. The backlit buttons are a nice touch too.
