This is my favorite remote for the Xbox one. It is slightly large but not overwhelming and has all the required buttons. Especially love that it has volume controls for the tv.

I bought this remote primarily for my wife to use with internet TV apps such as Sling TV, Hulu and Netflix as she does not like using the controller to control video options. The remote works perfectly, having a lot of buttons and automatically lights up when you pick up the remote. My favorite thing about it is that it has the A B X Y controller buttons so you never have to guess what to press if you like using the controller but want to feel like you are watching TV via a cable TV box and not feel like you are using a game console. My only dislike is that the remote uses line of sight IR, meaning you cannot have anything blocking the path between the remote and the Xbox and that you have to point the remote "at" the Xbox for it to work.

I love using this when I am not playing games but watching tv and movies on my Xbox. It feels more natural than using the game controller to change apps and switch channels.

This is much better for the non-game playing members of the family to easily use the XBOX. We recently started using Youtube TV and this remote is a life saver.

I gave my Blueray DVD player away. Now I use my Xbox One! The media remote is a great remote for this device. Has all the necessary buttons to enhance your experience.

I purchased this remote for my father because he can't remember which buttons to push on the actual Xbox controller. He uses it for Netflix and it works perfectly.

Majority of time use Xbox one as a media hub for Netflix/Hulu/YouTube and powering on the controller every time to change something was annoying. It works and is convenient.

This is a welcome addition to my Xbox. I use my Xbox for Netflix as well as other apps. It is so much easier to navigate with this remote then with the controller

Okay here's the deal. There are a lot and I mean a lot of negative reviews saying how this thing won't change the volume or the tv channel. I didn't care about that. I just wanted a blu ray player remote so I wouldn't have to use the Xbox controller and kill batteries because that thing won't just turn off by itself until a really long extended time. Not only does this light up just from picking it up but it also changes tv channels and volume controls on my LG TV and I didn't even have to put a code in. It was working right out of the box. Perfect remote much nicer than the official Microsoft Version. I would buy this again if I needed to.

I like the remote and the light up features over all it’s very nice of a size and look very comfortable, however it does take a whole lot of pressure to be able to get it to work it isn’t too soft to the touch it needs a hard grip so I mean it’s fallen a few times and splits open but it’s just the back case of the thing I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t sort of laggy but that’s just me I’ve put new batteries in it I’m guessing it’s just the way it was built. But it does automatically connect to the Xbox one so I do like having that.

This remote is awesome because it works with everything almost instantly. After a quick setup on my Xbox I can use it on the TV, the cable, and my surround sound.

This remote works perfecty with the Xbox One. I mainly bought it to watch Blu Rays and it’s great. My favorite thing is that the buttons light up when you pick it up.

Needed an easier way to control my Xbox for movies for my significant other that hates the controller, she can now watch movies without frustration.

This remote works really well I had to buy an IR emitter extender so that it would turn in my tv and surround sound as well as hangs the volume. That’s the only reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars

I knew from the images on the box it was a cool looking remote. It worked right out of the box. The best thing was the responsive backlighting it lights up at the slightest touch.

Loved this remote control. Super easy to use and helps so that we don’t drain the batteries on our game controllers when we are using Netflix or playing a DVD

Comes really handy with for my parents . they don't know how to use a Xbox controller but with this new control it's really easy for them to see Netflix and other apps on the Xbox.

I love this remote, it works perfect with my Xbox one s. I love that I don't have to use my controller to play a movie. I would recommend to buy if you use your Xbox to play movies

Bought an XBox One S for my mom for watching movies. Using Controller for Play, rewind, etc. was a little complicated...this media controller works much better for her.

I got really tired of trying to type in passwords and such using my controller so found this on sale. I like it except I haven't found out which key controls the upper case letters. Other than that, its great.
