Th remote is good, nothing special about it, it just work as any good remote should. The biggest plus it was cheaper than the Microsoft version and I liked the large profile.

The remote works out of the box using the IR blaster when pointed at my Kinect. It controls the TV volume and all other xbox functions, perfect for using the Xbox as a stream box, which mine currently is used as. Comes with batteries which means you got a free remote with the purchase of $20 batteries. Solid build quality, responsive buttons, and the motion activated lighting works well. 10/10 you can even just bring it to another xbox and point at it and it would work within the same house.

Does what I needed it to do. Bought it because I use my Xbox for Hulu and NFL Sunday ticket. This thing works great!

I bought this and it makes using the Xbox media services much easier. I can use my cable box along with videos on my Xbox through the remote.

The Pdp Talon Media Remote caught my eye during a recent trip into the store -- I have Microsoft's "official" remote, and this is very similar in quality and concept to Microsoft's remote. What this remote adds that I valued enough to buy it is "extra length" -- I don't really use the extra buttons on this remote compared to Microsoft's, but its longer length makes it MUCH easier to handle. And, I prefer how the transport controls are up near the top, rather than down near the bottom, as they are on Microsoft's remote. In the end, I just find this easier to use.

If you're a gamer and a movie lover and love to watch 4k and Blu-Ray movies on the Xbox One X, then you need this! It's kind of annoying to have to find the Xbox Controller and waste its battery just to watch a movie. But with this media remote you have full control of your Xbox. It even lights up when you move it ever so slightly for easy visuals, when needing to use it in the dark. I love the options this bring to my entertainment environment.

Worth the price! This remote comes in handy for using my Xbox One S in the living room for steaming and watching TV through the pass view settings.
