Controls more than just apps!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It's nice having this media remote for things like Netflix, Hulu and other media apps on my Xbox one x however I went through the whole set up for my TV and Directv and for some unknown reason the volume doesn't always work so that could be annoying because if it weren't for that this remote would be the only one I'd need. But I like this remote more than using the Xbox controller.

Awesome Media Remote

It has more buttons, including the controller XABY buttons, which are useful for some apps and when using the onscreen keyboard and also includes a full 10 digit number pad, which is useful when typing numbers. Great price for great quality. Overall, wonderful media remote so you don't have to turn your controller on to use the console when not gaming.

Great Remote

I really like the back side of the remote coming off to add the batteries instead of a panel that get broken over time through the wear and tear of children. The remote can also be programmed for volume control on the TV.
