I currently have a gate up in front of my entertainment stand to keep a toddler out and it will block the signal from the remote. Move the gate and it works like a charm. Overall I'd recommend it, and I'll definitely get more use out of it once I'm able to put away the gate!

Solid remote with terrific in-hand feel

The soft-touch finish on the remote is something that I genuinely wish Microsoft would utilize on all of their controllers, kind of like the Elite. The "move to wake/light" functionality of the remote is also very cool. 10/10 product for $20.

Its Just What You Expect

The remote itself has an amazing texture, it just feels so nice in the hand. It is fast and you don't have to wake it up every 10 minutes like the controller. If you watch video on your Xbox at bedtime this will be a huge quality of life improvement for a low cost. A+

Easy to use and work on the Xbox
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a great gadget for using the media services of the XBOX (Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, etc.) The remote has an awesome backlit display when detecting movement; however, the "game" buttons do not (x,b,y,a). Has a nifty OneGuide Channel button which is great to pull up the guide menu while watching tv. Definitely worth it.
