Great for media consumption, but it needs clearly marked buttons for DVD/BluRay menus. The auto-glow function is fantastic, but it needs to last a few seconds longer. Highly recommended, but it could be better.

The remote works great for every day use. The are a lot of buttons and they are extremely responsive. The only two issues are that the batteries die quickly and the back battery cover "unlocks" fairly frequently compared to the smaller Xbox remote we replaced.

Great media remote for xbox. We've had a couple and even the Xbox branded mini remote. I do hope that they eventually release an updated version with the series x now being released.

The PDP media remote is just "Meh." It does the job, but with some caveats. First, if you're in an area that has multiple xbox one's in close proximity, you'll find that the controller will be trying to connect to all of them. That's right, you don't actually sync this controller. Instead, it's ready to use right out of the box. That's a bad thing when your button presses are jumping from your console to two other consoles in the same room lol. The buttons also feel cheap, and the build quality doesn't feel like it will last. Ultimately, the controller does the job; but it won't do it for long due to build quality and won't do it well if you have other X1's nearby. They could have fixed this with a sync button. Not sure why it wasn't included.

The remote is motion sensitive and lights up, which is nice during movie time. I really like the feel of it and it makes it nice if you just want to watch something instead of playing a game. I got mine on sale and it was a great purchase.

Bought this for when watching movies. I read that some don't like it because they can't pair it with several devices but not an issue for me as i use this for Xbox One only. I have a separate universal remote for the reset of my devices and TV.

Needed this to replace the old control pad. Does the job, but has little other function. change channels yes volume up or down yes beyond that good luck. knowing exactly what each button does is like figuring out how to put a puzzle together with only the corner pieces.

This remote does it all. I have everything connected through my Xbox, and so this remote controls everything. Better than using a controller when I am not playing a game.

Like it for functionality and my wife likes being able to use it instead of a game controller but this thing seriously light up non-stop. Bump the table, lights up, grab the remote next to it, lights up...

We got this one because the older remote for the one does not have the x,y,b,a buttons and some other stuff on it that apps like hulu says to hit the x button to see what the movie is about this one is really great and we love it.

I have to point the remote directly at my Xbox for it to work so half the time I just use a regular controller to watch movies. But I do like that it lights up when picked up.

I bought this because I got tired of the XBOX controller going into sleep mode while I was watching a show or movie. This remote works as advertised. The only downside is I wish there was a setting to control the length of time for the backlight.

Works very well. Remote has a sleep/wake function to help save battery. If you use your Xbox One for any media functions (Netflix, Hulu, DVD/Blu-Ray, etc) you want this remove. Much less clunky than using a controller.

It was nice to find a remote control for media control. The range isn't to bad. The worst part is the left right up and down control is way to stiff making it difficult to move around freely.

This remote is exactly what you're looking for if you watch a lot of Netflix on your Xbox one. This remote is faster because it's always connected to your Xbox. You don't have to wait to turn on your controller after an episode.

Very impressed with this remote. Worked out of the box with no setup. Just install the batteries and go. Had it a couple of months now and am very happy. For the price very hard to beat. I recommend it.

My husband initially bought the smaller version of this remote. Because our cable is going through the XBox One, the other remote was not sufficient. Needed a remote with more button options. This does not satisfy all needs (such as numbers), but it does the job.

I was tired of using the Xbox control for media control and I decided to go with this instead. It works perfectly, I has all the functions needed to control the Xbox.

THis controller has a better array of controls than the previous generation. My only complaint is the backlighting only lasts for a second or so. I wish it would stay illuminated for a little longer.
