This worked right away when I hooked it up. And it even comes with batteries. It also worked with my Apple TV 4K as a universal controller. ( minus the volume and Siri).

This remote turned my XBox One X into a proper multimedia machine. The only drawback is the cursor buttons blend into the controller a bit too much. It’s still a great Xbox accessory.

Great game remote, if you want to utilize the 4k capabilities of your Xbox One, this is for you, it certainly beats trying to use the game controllers when just watching a mov.

Great product, works instantly out of the box. Great for streaming services. Only downside is if you watch cable through your Xbox you can't access your DVR without using the cable remote.

Had the previous smaller version, this one is super. Wish the lighting of buttons was a little longer when activated by movement of the remote but still great.

I love this remote! Saves from using the controller all the time if i just want to watch tv. Has a nice illumination feature to light it up on just a touch!

it was nice to come across the official xbox remote. it's a sleek remote, but couldn't do all the functions i needed. it can't be programmed to operate the tv

I like the illuminated buttons that light up when the controller is picked up. It seems the "CC" (Closed Caption) button doesn't actually work so I have to go into the DVD menu to turn that feature on.

Finally able to control my xbox 1 on a Logitech harmony hub, The only downside for me is using the remote as standalone cause I dont like the feel of the remote buttons itself.

This remote works well to control your Xbox One if you are using it for viewing Netflix or other apps. It does not control the TV without the IR sensors which need to be purchased separately.

This remote is ready to go right out of the box. The only issue that I've run across is the volume & channel up/down don't work for my tv. Some setup maybe required to get full functionality out of it.

Stop putting it off! Buy this remote especially if you watch Blurays & DVDs with your console. SO much better than using game controller.

Did not expect this controller to be on par with the microsoft branded alternative I previously owned but it is nearly identical in build quality

The reason why I bought this remote was for my kids. We were using the Xbox controller and the analog sticks broke after dropping it several times. This was a great buy!

I purchased this remote after I got the official version. The orginal of errors is too small with limited controls. This version is cheaper and has all of the controller buttons. Great value. Buy it.

I love this remote it has a great backlights that lights up whenever you pick it up and it works really well across all apps and even has a cursor when using the internet

Good for those who watch a lot of movies on their Xbox. Eats up batteries quick do to the fact if you barely touch the unit the backlight comes on, it’s very touchy.

Not as responsive as I was hoping it would be. I do understand that it is an IR remote but you literally have to point the remote directly at the Xbox for any input. And volume button does not work.
