Customers are saying

Customers love the Talon Media Remote for Xbox One's ease of use, backlight, and overall design. Many appreciate its compatibility with various devices and the comfortable feel and size. While some users noted that the button quality could be improved and the range is limited to line of sight, the positive feedback on ease of use and features outweighs these concerns. The remote's price point is also frequently praised.

It's a remote for your Xbox One, but...

It's a remote for your Xbox One, but the buttons are very flat, it makes it hard to tell which buttons you are on. Also the illumination is turns off too fast for my liking. I recommend a universal remote instead.

Not a bad media remote but could be much better with bluetooth support as it requires line of sight to the Xbox. That was the only problem i have with it. It feels great in the hand. Its a lot better than using the game controller in my opinion.

This remote works really good, only issue I have is the back doesn’t stay on the greatest the remote feels real good in your hand and has a good texture and it doesn’t have to be pointed directly at the Xbox which is nice.

This remote does what it needs to, however the buttons are not the most responsive or easy to push plus the back panel that holds the batteries wears out and falls off too easily.

XBox didn't last long at our house

I bought this to make the XBox a media station and replace my Apple TV, Roku, or Fire TV. Miserable mistake. The XBox user interface is a horror. Got rid of XBox and remote soon thereafter.

Works as intended, setup was a snap. Only issue that would stop me from purchasing again would be the accuracy of the remote. It requires you to point it exactly in a certain way otherwise you're pressing buttons and nothing happens.

This remote sucks. The range is maybe 6 ft and you have to point it directly at the Xbox. Do not recommend.

the only complaint I have is how far they put the back button away from the directional pad. my hands aren't small but I still need to readjust my grip to hit the back button instead of the x

It doesn’t light up very bright and the buttons are pretty small are my only downs on this item. But it’s a nice way to operate the Xbox with a remote for the piece.

This is an okay item. The durability of the remote is okay, the left and right arrow sensitivity is lacking. The overall use is nice, especially with the lights.

Good remote..does mostly what it is supposed to do...may return mine, as I find it rather annoying that you can't change the program the volume buttons. Seriously! Why even include the buttons??

This works alright most of the time. I have my Xbox behind my TV and when the remote isn’t in full view it does not work, if it’s in full view of the Xbox it works fine.

The remote works as expected. Makes the XBox a better media box. Infrared based, so you need to point it to the XBox. You can use a universal remote to achieve the same functions.

Handy remote, the signal strength is good, but the backlighting doesn't stay on long enough. The keys could use better descriptions on the remote. For the price it is a good remote.

What a joke, 3-5' range, absolutely useless

Range is absolutely useless. You have to be pointing directly at the Xbox for it to work and only reliably if you're within 5 feet. I don't understand how this even passes as acceptable to release to the public. The Kinect doesn't seem to make a difference either. I tried fresh batteries, no luck. Do not buy if you sit an even slightly reasonable distance from your Xbox.
