Rep at BB told me this was RF, which turned out to be a lie. This is IR so if your XB1 is in another room, it will not work

As I mentioned in my Xbox review, the lack of a dedicated power button for the console or the TV keeps this from truly being the only remote you need in your living room.

Good remote functions very well. The touch sensitive lighting on the remote is a very nice feature. However, there is no eject button. At least none that I noticed.

works fine, but not as advertised. No 3.5mm jack for headphones and it works off IR and doesnt pair with the xbox

The remote itself is ok but i liked and am getting the official Xbox remote instead due to smaller size and Xbox home button does not light up on this remote.

Better than the last one I bought, but you have to have it pointed directly at the xbox or it wont work, controllers work better than the media remote

This remote is a bust. The volume never works which is one of the main reasons for purchasing. How do you sell a remote control that doesn’t even control volume on your tv?? All functions work otherwise. A slight learning curve on what buttons control what. The Arrows control things that I feel the arrows shouldn’t control. Very counterintuitive. The batteries die quickly as well considering it lights up every time you move it or you move the table/couch it is sitting on. This is a 3rd party remote meaning Xbox doesn’t make this remote directly. I have yet to find good quality 3rd party products and this is definitely in that category. Thumbs Down again. I tried to reprogram the remote several times and volume still doesn’t work. I called support from Xbox and after trouble shooting the volume worked. Then 5 minutes later didn’t work again. I am giving this remote a single star because it works on everything else but the volume which is a pretty major quality when you are trying to replace your controller and looking to control tv and all other functions with one remote. Don’t know when Xbox will come out with a version of their own so until then I will return this remote and use my controller to control the Xbox and all it’s new functions. :(

It works but the buttons sometimes have to be pushed a 2nd or 3rd time for the press to register. My biggest complaint is the backlight drains batteries extremely quick because the backlight comes on even if the remote is barely moved. There should have been a button added to the side to toggle the backlight on or off because I have to swap batteries once a week.

The remote itself feels a bit flimsy, cheap material. It works, but I do think it's a bit overpriced for how it feels.

Overall well made. Arrow keys must be pressed hard. Number keys only work for switching TV channel but not applicable for inputs in apps.

I use the remote everyday to save my controller batteries. But it fell off my bed one day and three pins broke off on the battery cover.

You may have to purchase another one. Seems to be poor quality.

I liked the way the PS3 remote works better, but since I have an Xbox it will have to do. I may need a tutorial to use it better.

Until I test the full capabilities of the new console, I'm not sure that I need this. Will have to find out before return period expires.

It does the job but a little hard to use. I tend to go back and use the normal xbox controller.

The only complaints with this remote is the back-light buttons do not stay on long and the matte finish on it seems cheap.

Cheap back keeps coming off buttons get stuck......

The lighting behind the buttons disappears too fast . Remote face is too “busy” for my taste .

This remote is ok. Not the best but good value for the price. Just doest control the tv like the ps4 remote does
