1 star rating because it's so terrible we don't even use it. Instead we just use the standard controller to control everything. It's not RF so it must be pointed directly at the console and even then it struggles. Waste of money really.

Good remote to control your xbox. Not perfect but do the job.

Seemed nice on first blush, but it's not very responsive when navigating the interface or attempting to use on-screen keyboards, and the backlight comes on too briefly to be of much use in the dark. Would not buy again.

The backlight comes on for approx 2 seconds. Who can find the button they need in that amount of time if you're watching something in the dark?? Save your money and just use the controller, thats what I use even thought I wasted money on this.

I just wish that it was more universal like the one for ps4

This remote has good functionality but it will give you many issues with respect to the volume control. It works with pressing volume buttons repeatedly for incremental volume increase and decrease of sound, this was not acceptable to me, so I returned it.

Decent remote for xbox but they could do a better job with it. The back cover keeps sliding off. It's not holding in place. Also, what's the point of having all the buttons if it's not going to work as a universal remote

I bought this controller because it said that it could be the remote for the TV and the xbox. There's even a place in the settings that has you set it up to control the tv and your sound system but it doesn't do anything. It connected to the Xbox immediately just nothing else. After talking to Microsoft tech support and to the tech support of the company itself I decided to just return it. Neither could help me. Even bought IR blasters because I thought maybe that was the reason it wasn't working. Nope. Just some false advertising on the box. Would've given it no stars but that isn't an option.

The usability of this remote is limited to basic functionality despite having multiple buttons. Some buttons work & some doesn’t which defeats the purpose of having this remote. Waste of money!

Garbage controller . Hard to use . WNt my money back . Paper weight . Will sell for a stick of gum and nail clippers

Works great at controlling the Xbox but unless your Xbox is turned on it doesn't control the tv. You can program it to control the tv and sound bar but it's a paperweight once you turn your Xbox off.

Worked great initially. After about a week, started having to point the remote at increasingly unusual angles to get the Xbox to pick up the signal. Returning to the store today.

The remote started as a smart purchase and then it started doing weird stuff on the Xbox, so as not allowing me to access live TV. The narrator mode was activated and it was difficult to turn it off.

I use my console for a lot of media however I think I either have a dud or it’s defective. My remote appears to lag and just doesn’t do anything to enhance the experience

It was an OK but not full featured remote. Then, for no reason it stopped working after a few months. More plastic headed to a landfill. What a waste of money and resources.

No volume control. Most times it’s laggy specially if you changing tv channels. Pros are the light on remote and controls for blue ray player.
