I'm so glad I got this! We stream Netflix and Hulu through our Xbox, as well as play DVDs - so I was always fumbling with the controller. This works seamlessly and has subtle backlighting. Well worth it!

Bought for Xbox One S. Remote had a soft touch feel too it and i love the light up buttons which are really useful in the dark. Connected straight away to the console and works as expected.

Although you can use the Xbox remote to watch movies, this remote is a much better solution and makes it feel more natural to control your movie playback. Well worth the price. Highly recommend.

I would get annoyed using the huge Xbox controller for just watching shows , those design makes everything feel more natural and it actually exceeded my expectations

If you use your xbox as your main media gateway as I do, this is a no brainer purchase. The remote makes it much more convenient to navigate through the menus of the Xbox and it's apps, all with one hand. The remote has a nice rubberized feel, and the build quailty is good. The buttons are backlit, making it easy to find what you're looking for. And if you are utilizing the Xbox's device control liek I am, this is literally the only remote you need. I press the power button, and all my devices are turned on, and can all be controlled through this single remote.

I loved the media remote for my 360. I was a little disappointed in what Microsoft released as a media remote for the Xbox One, considering the plethora of extra media options they added to the console. Mostly the missing face buttons and number buttons. Well PDP must have felt the same way, because they came out with, almost, a clone of that old white 360 remote I loved. If you feel that the Microsoft remote doesn't offer enough functionality, I highly recommend this one. Also whoever wrote the product description, described a PDP controller. Sorry no bumpers, triggers, or cords. Just what a media remote should be.

This has been awesome for streaming services on the xbox 1x. Easy to use. Lights up as soon as you touch it so you can find the buttons easily.

I bought it specifically for controlling sling tv and other video streaming apps on xbox one to get the tv-remote experience. It serves the purpose perfectly. One downside, the volume control doesn't work, so I still need to use the tv remote for volume.

Slick easy design. Pretty simple to use. I only wish the back light wouldn't turn off quite so fast. But other than that, I'd buy it again.
