Honestly there isn't much to write about this remote, however it does exactly as it is suppose to, and one of the cool features it has that I didn't know about till I opened it, was the backlighting of all the buttons ( it turns on through movement of the remote ).

Best thing I have bought for my xbox. Using control streaming was a nightmare.

Works great. I have two. One in each room, with each xbox.

I love having this, not having to waste my controller batteries is perfect. Also the back light is perfect at night when when watching Netflix.

This remote is awesome, really like the white motion activated backlit buttons! Got tried of always turning on my XBOX One controller on just to play a Netflix movie or tune to a TV channel and then having to turn the controller off again...most of the time I ended up forgetting to turn off the controller, which wasted a lot of battery time. I like how the remote works right out of the box, but I do wish it was Bluetooth instead of infrared (the remote must have line of sight with the XBOX One in order for it to work).

I bought this as a gift for family, and they use this all the time. It connects easily and they have had zero problems.

I like this remote. It feels great in your hand. It worked immediately with my Xbox One (no setup). You do have to make sure nothing is in front of your Xbox console to ensure a good connection. It's not as efficient of a connection as an Xbox One controller (i.e. It won't work if you're in a different room than the Xbox console). Altogether, it's a good product worth having when you need to charge your controller and you just want to use TV apps, Spotify, YouTube, etc.

Remote works as designed, much easier than using the controller. I would recommend this to anyone.

I have both Netflix and Hulu and I was using my Xbox one controller to control both. However, having it on for a long period of time was making my rechargable battery pack drain. So,I decided to buy this media remote and it works great. I can also set it up so that I can control my cable box and tv. Plus,the buttons light up which I like.

This product claimed to have a 3.5mm headphone jack, and other features but it seems someone lazily copied the description from some other product. This is just a basic remote for your xbox that may or may not work with your tv as well.

The little features make the Remote worth it if your Xbox is your home media console like when the controller moves it lights up.

I have to aim at xbox or it doesn't work. I'm returning.

This remote wasn't great... The response is slow, it rarely turns my TV on and off, and it eats batteries for breakfast. I had high hopes for this but I had to just get my money back through GSP. There are no other Xbox remotes so this is all you got. I don't think it's really worth it.

It's just awful how so many products today last so little before failing. It's not just a waste of money but a waste of resources and more junk and more plastic to pollute the planet. Build stuff to last!!!!!!!!! $20 for this and it should really last years. AVOID.

Would work good if it wasn’t an ir remote. My Xbox is behind my tv and doesn’t work unless you have a line of sight. I would have to buy an IR extender so it was cheaper to just buy Logitech harmony hub

I found this remote to be very glitchy. When I say that I mean sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. It has been very frustrating at times, so much so that I am looking for a replacement.

Bought the 1st one fall 2018, it didn't work at all but I didn't return it in within the return window so I sent an email to the manufacturer. After about 3 weeks I got a reply from the service department at Talon. They had me take a picture of the defective unit and provide proof of purchase all via email which was pretty cool. After another couple of weeks I got the new unit. It works but I have to be standing 2 feet from the xbox for it to work.

No where on the packaging does it state that it is an IR remote that requires line of sight. In fact on the packaging it states it requires an IR blaster or kinetic in order to control your television. If it requires an IR blaster to communicate with your television it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that it communicates with the Xbox one with RF like the game controllers do. This was a completely useless purchase for me since all my a/v equipment including my Xbox one is located in a closet in the room behind the wall the televisions are mounted on. Why would I want to look at a stack of electronics when they can be hidden away and controlled remotely. I'm going to have to install an IR extender system that costs more then this remote just to control my Xbox media since all my other gear operates on RF or via an app. I understand the Xbox app will control my media, but it is the absolute worse remote control app. I think they did this to force people to buy the official Xbox media remote which is about 40% more than this one...

Short story- bought remote, installed batteries. Spent the next 35 minutes trying to get back cover back on. Broke in half, threw away.

Adult owned yet stopped working after only 2 months, usless garbage STAY AWAY
