Customers have good things to say about the Victrix Gambit Prime controller's back buttons, response time, and lightweight design. Many appreciate the customizable back buttons and the controller's fast response time. However, some users have noted concerns about potential stick drift and the durability of the joystick components. The overall feedback suggests a controller with strong positive attributes, but with a potential drawback related to the joysticks.

I'm not going to be uppity with my review and give you a review of every controller I've ever owned in comparison to this one. But what I'm going to say is purchase this controller because it is worth it! The faceplate is magnetic but I think it does take a screwdriver in order to change anything really. But do this buy it! I have adjusted the triggers for fortnite and absolutely amazing is all I have to say. The court is of excellent quality. I do wish to rate 4.5 Stars based on the fact that it is cheap plastic but as long as you take good care of it you should have no problems. It's very nice and lightweight as the heavier ones are hard on your wrists even if you don't realize it at first but a few years go by and you will damage yourself if you use those heavy controllers too often. Being that buying aftermarket Xbox controllers that don't come with the console itself always tend to drift within 6 months and I've gone through four of them I don't recommend those I do recommend corded controllers... Or any controller that actually comes with the physical console itself. For some reason those seem to be built much better and I'm sure that they bill them to drift so that you purchase another.

This controller is versatile. I was looking for a controller for my desk gaming setup. I tried other brands but this one is by far my favorite. I like the customization of the different thumb sticks and d pad. The price is reasonable and you really get a lot for the money. The response on this controller is top tier.

This controller is amazing and easily adaptable for any genre of your choice in gaming. Interchangeable pieces give you a different variety of style and feel accompanied by an aggressive style of arrangement of buttons on the back for people who enjoy competitive gaming 10/10.

The only issue I have is sometimes the Input will stick until you move it again. For example if I go forward with the left stick and let go sometimes my person keeps running unless I pull back or go left or right. If I aim and then want to un ADS it’ll stay aimed until I hit LT again. It will make inputs by itself sometimes. It hits 8ms response time randomly every some odd inputs instead of the .8 or .5 that it usually does. Sometimes you can feel the lag. Maybe it’s just this one that I got not ALL of them tbh. The stick drift is a thing but it’s not as bad as an elite controller. Overall very light weight, fast response time and the grip isn’t as bad as some say tbh. The back buttons are a little tricky at first but they are overall perfect placement. (4 paddles) for the price you pay it’s def the best controller!!

Look, it's the fastest controller available for Xbox since they lock their polling rate on their own controllers. It's about 525hz for anyone looking.
It's a good controller, easy software but the quality of it is sort of questionable.
The sticks get friction from its casing so it starts to get worn down on the sticks, and the sticks itself feel like very cheap plastic... also my LB broke within a 29 days of use, contacted support which was interesting. They kept asking for the same info over and over again, seems like I was getting copy and pasted responses from some guide. Eventually they did offer to send me a new controller.
Overall, I do like it - quality is really iffy but your only option on a higher polling rate xbox controller at the moment.

Alright look i have seen the BAD reviews about this controller, but i still got it and its been 1 month with it, and its actually really great! The response time is perfect, it feels smooth and fluid, i would rather play wired only cause im on PC and i feel like as long as you dont throw the controller across the room from raging you should be alright and this controller will easily last longer than people may seem that it does, also the cord is still in great condition, but also take in mind, i dont play video games 10 hours all day every day.

I like the controller for its Price the only thing u have
To worry about is if it drops on hard floors or anything as such the bumper buttons have a big chance of breaking if anything for a little more expensive is the wolverine v3 wireless it's a full metal body it's all keyboard like buttons u can full customize dead zone and is perfect for bigger hands like mine in planning on buying it eventually but this controller is good to just I would save for the other I mentioned

Hard to sync with Xbox X you have to manually turn on the Xbox. You cannot do it from the controller. Nothing special about this controller.

Great response time and feels good in hand. I use it mainly for Apex and The Show. I wish it came with an extra regular sized analog stick. Not suitable for precision rings with the extended analog stick. But overall a good controller. Would buy again!

For the price, it has features seen on far more expensive controllers, at the only cost being wired. Which means at least you don't have to worry about running out of battery mid game.

I have owned alot of pro controllers in the past. Currently my favorite is the scuff envision pro, that is until now. The envision pro has two flaws: it is only compatible with pc, and you have to download the corsair software to use it properly. This Victrix controller is amazing. Yes its build quality is less than that of other but IT IS ONLY $80. I mean the low latency i got with this controller is completely worth that. It is compatible with PC and XBOX which is amazing and the ability to link back paddle buttons with different inputs in seconds just from the controller is a feature that i didnt realize i needed so badly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to step their game up. It took me a couple of days to get used to the feel but trust me once you do there is no looking back.

I previously purchased the PDP regular controller for under $30. It was a great controller for the price. I expected to get another great value upgrading to this one, but it was very underwhelming. The joysticks were solid and had good control, but the build quality was mediocre. The plastic was creaking and the sound would cut out a lot.
