The controller keeps the Gambit’s comfy SX‑style shape but with a much better build. It’s lighter, grippier, and snappier across the board... Quick bumpers, smooth joy sticks, great triggers, and responsive face buttons. Swappable sticks, KontrolFreek support, and a raised SX‑style D‑pad are big wins. Back buttons land naturally, battery life is solid, profiles are handy, and it even works with the Mayflash adapter on SX (minus audio).

i bought is as a gift for my family members. After using it myself found it as a controller with flexibility and performance across PS5, PS4, and PC. Its modular design lets you swap layouts, triggers, and even add a fight pad module, making it adaptable to different play styles. The Hall‑effect thumbsticks feel precise and durable, eliminating worries about stick drift. While it doesn’t include Sony’s signature haptics or adaptive triggers, it makes up for that with strong battery life and responsive gameplay. Overall: Premium controller that shines for competitive players.

    Better than dual sense?

Good controller for the PS5, so far. My only gripe with this controller is the form factor. It's a little bulky from what I'm used to. Otherwise, it's responsive and has great feedback. I see no difference with control input compared to the dual sense controllers. Longevity of the analog sticks will be tested over time, but so far it's been great. I like how you can change the height of the sticks and they're INCLUDED. Unlike other brands where you have to buy those separately. You can also customize the d-pad, button layout, and even stick layout. Good options for all kinds of gamers. Remapping is pretty easy and you can almost do it on the fly, even mid-game. Overall, I do recommend this controller if you want to upgrade but don't want to buy the dual sense pro controllers. It takes some getting used to with the bulk, but other than that, it's a good controller.

Its a great controller so far I've had It for a couple of weeks everything is very responsive. Some people say their L2/R2 buttons are sticky and at first i thought the same but you just have to get used to holding the controller also the paddles on the back are wonderfully placed and the customization of the controller is unmatched and you can set a profile for each game you play.

I bought "Open Box: Excellent", and understand why they'd be returned despite being really good controllers. If I were younger, I'd probably adapt very fast. So 4 stars because I can totally see these being awesome for others. For me, however, I was hitting the clutch triggers all the time thanks to damaged nerves in my left hand. For design, the right and left triggers curve out making it too likely for me to accidentally press them. But the disappointment is with no vibration. Maybe I missed something? I didn't find any way to turn it on if these do have that function, so pretty sure they don't. Still... if it wasn't for my "me" problem with nerve damage and I was able to spend the time adapting, I'd love to keep these. I really wanted to love these & give 5 stars, but that lack of vibration diminishes games for me. The storage case is pure bonus and a HUGE bonus at that! Being able to spin the controls around to PS style vs. XBox style is also a winning idea! It's SOOO easy to change where you have the thumb sticks / L3 / R3 buttons! Need a screwdriver for the adjustment? Yup, but that's INCLUDED and has a place to store it in the case!

Layout is perfect and the switchable button plates let's me easily transfer from fighting games to action rpgs. Only downside is I've had two replaced under warranty after a year. First was charge port stopped functioning second was controller died accompanied by a concerning burnt electronics smell.

I love this controller so much I purchased two of them. The only complaint I have about this controller is coming in a future update and that is complete button mapping. The biggest complaint other people have with this controller is the lack of vibration functionality. I personally don’t care for vibration because I turn it off in most games anyway. I’ve seen reviews saying that the controller is cheaply made yet. There is zero proof of this. I have been using this controller like a beat stick for the last 2 to 3 weeks that I’ve had it. I love the six button layout, the tactile buttons are perfect for fighting games. The D pad options are great. My friend loves that there is an octagonal gate for the analog sticks. I love that. I finally have a controller. I enjoy using with my PlayStation 5. I hate the dualsense controller. I will not be buying the dual sense edge controller due to the fact that not only does it cost more than this controller, but it only has two back paddles, when realistically four is needed. the hair trigger Mona on the triggers is phenomenal, especially when paired with the taller right stick. I love that the software is going to be updated to add new features over time. I love that this controller has a wired option, because when playing fighting games and FPS games, some people, worry about input lag and having a wired option can decrease the input lag substantially in most controllers. However, I have not experienced a single bit of input lag when using the wireless mode, it is probably due to the fact that it uses its own wireless dongle instead of a Bluetooth protocol. This controller is a bit on the lighter weight side. However, that does not mean it is cheaply made. If you squeeze the controller tightly and try to rotate your hands, it does not make any creaking. Sounds like you hear on many other controllers. The rubber grips are perfect. This will be my only PS5 controller for the life of this generation because it is honestly the best controller I have used since the Xbox elite series 2 controller. It has replaced what I use on the PC as well, which was my series 2 controller

The controller feels great - if you're an Ios user, there is no app. This being a pro controller the shoulder buttons are far more sensitive even with adjustments. Whatever material is used for the grips and the sticks will find EVERY drop of your skin's natural oil and decolor so keep wipes available if that bothers you. Otherwise, greatly responsive, adjustable on the fly, not much brain power to learn. I bought this for $99.99 which is between the regular and some unique colorway DualSense controllers and the EDGE controllers, so you are given a modular controller that combats stick drift better AND back paddles without paying almost $200.

It’s a good controller and got it on sale for $100. Only issue I have is in the back where you lock the r2 and L2 buttons sometimes it’s useful sometimes it’s in the way and locks it

This is a fairly customizable controller, and a major upgrade from controllers sold by the main company. This controller is specifically constructed to last much longer than others, so you save money investing in this one if you're a little clumsy like I am. You have the option to change the sensitivity of the bumpers, the placement and size/design of the joysticks, d-pad, and buttons, and it comes with two sets of smaller bumpers on the handles that you can route to function as any button you want, as well as 3 different "profiles" you can easily switch between for different mini-bumper presets. Switching out the joysticks and d-pads are very easy, as well, and this item comes with the tools to do so as well as extra parts. The tactile grips on the joysticks and handles are comfortable as well. Please note that you can use this for PS5, PS4, and PC only, and the ability to switch between devices is a little slider on the controller instead of the dongle.

Mainly use this for fighting games on my PC and PS5. The d-pad pre-installed is great for my motion inputs (the diamond shape, not the + plus d-pad) and the buttons feel responsive. Do keep in mind that this does not have any rumble or haptics but this does help increase the battery life dramatically compared to the Dualsense. The trigger stops are great for some moves that require me to mash triggers (Vi's Super 2 in 2XKO) and are great for shooters. I had to use the PC software to adjust the deadzones as they were way to sensitive, which caused me to accidentally fire or do a move when not desired. After they were calibrated and I have my stops where I wanted, it's great. The back buttons are useful for shooters to allow jumping and aiming easily, however, I've accidentally hit the buttons a few times by mistake. On a good sale, this controller is definitely worth it.

If you’re a competitive gamer looking for a customizable, ultra-responsive controller, the Victrix Pro BFG is a fantastic choice. It outshines many other third-party controllers with its modular features, responsiveness, and overall premium feel. Definitely one of the best pro controllers for PS5!

I really like this controller because it has an excellent grip and good buttons. The only drawback I see is the joysticks, but they can be replaced with others since they are interchangeable, so I think it's a very practical controller.
