Great quality build, yes it's wired but the cord is long enough where can't sit away at a conference distance. Side bonus it can be used as a USB controller for you PC.

My kids go through a lot of Xbox controllers and this one so far is meeting their needs and seems to be sturdy and well-constructed. Two teenagers give it a thumbs up. Not needing to charge the battery is major positive that most people don't think of as well. Best advice I can ever give is to buy the Geek Squad warranty on these. It will save you a ton on money when you inevitably have to buy another controller. I buy the warranty every single time and use it every single time. Trust me on this one.

I picked this up since I recently switched to PC gaming. Previously I played PS4. While you can use the PS4 controller on PC, I figured I'd try this controller since it works seamlessly with PC with no additional software. Overall the controller felt really good. Buttons were snappy and responsive. I thought the thumbsticks were a bit too high so not sure if that's standard across all XBOX controllers. Ultimately, I wound up returning it as I just couldn't get accustomed to the buttons. The PS4 controller is more natural feeling to me so I decided to stick with that. If you're an XBOX player then this shouldn't be an issue with you however, the buttons were the big thing I just couldn't get used to.

I brought 4 more of this in different colors to share with friends, after I got mine. It is solid and reliable for FPS gaming experience. The cable is really long 9ft and it is removeable. I can not replace a shorter USB cable because of the way their design. Im still using Windows 7 and just install the drive doesnt work for me. I read and search, found out, just download xbox controller driver for Windows 64 bit and PDP gamepad start working. For raspberry Pi, it is plug and play. For Windows 10, it is plug and play.

This controller works with my Xbox one s very well. The color is great and the controls are tight and accurate. Would buy again!

Bought one for my PC and then returned it like a year later. It worked well with my computer, but it didn't last long before it suffered stick drift. Not only that but after a while the buttons get stick inside the shell. I returned it and got a new one, but it happened to that one too. Overall either buy a separate brand or save up for a wireless controller with a Bluetooth adapter if you computer doesn't support Bluetooth.

These word controllers feel like the xbox originals. This is a great controller for your main or as a back up for when you're charging your wireless big boys. The cables are nice and long but not half way across the room long.

I ordered this controller to use as both another mouse to control my TV, plugged into my PC, and for gaming. After about a month of use, I've had no issues. Solid build, decent controls, and setup was absolutely plug and play.

I was experiencing some lag issues with my Xbox One S controller so I decided to try a wired option. At first glance, it looks almost identical to the original. But after handling it, the PDP controller is slightly smaller and a bit lighter. I got used to it fairly quickly. The buttons have a good feel and they depress satisfactorily. The D-Pad is not jaggy and moves around easily. The analog sticks move well with no friction. The cable is quite long and supple allowing playing at a good distance from the TV (which was my main worry) and one can forget it is there -just be mindful that it is attached to the console so NO RAGE PULLING! The rumble feature is done well, maybe a tad stronger than the original and it may linger a bit longer than the original. I tried it on my PC and it worked flawlessly as well. It was immediately recognized by the system. I still like my NACON better just because of the weight and features but this is still a great option if/when this controller fails. Again, the main reason I bought the wired PDP controller was to see if this would help in my input lag issues. I was pleasantly surprised that the PDP's came out way on top! I did not notice any lag and all my commands and movements were executed perfectly. My competitive edge was significantly improved. I don't think I'll be using the original controller while I have the PDP any time soon. OH, and at its price, it's certainly a no-brainer.

This guy is one solid piece of equipment. Got for my games in my chrome book. Worked great feels great. Would recommend

Got this for my son because he was going through batteries like crazy with his wireless he actually prefers this Controller now.

I bought this controller to replace my wired xbox 360 I use with my PC. It worked fine, but didn't feel as sturdy as my 360 controller. Fortunately, the USB cable this controller comes with is detachable. Now I use my Xbox one controller wired to my PC.

This controller is inexpensive but an excellent value. It's attractive and works well. It connects to Windows 10 machines and is immediately recognized without having to download drivers. I'm very satisfied with this.

I’ve bought a couple of these over the last few years, and the build quality, for the price, is actually decent. Sure, it’s not going to feel like an actual 1st party controller, but this also costs significantly less. I primarily get these for PC gaming, as there is less latency using a wired connection. The wire also detaches so you can replace it with a longer cable if you’d like (it comes with about a 6 foot microUSB cable). Overall for the price, go for it.

I bought this controller to cut down on the amount of batteries that get used (we have other wireless controllers), it works great for the little ones. The only downfall about the wired controller is it limits the space of movement when using it.

I got this for my fiancé who wanted to start playing some Modern Warfare, this was a great option for the price just in case she quit playing. The controller features headset game volume and chat controls which are very convenient because you don’t have to go into the Xbox menu to change volume settings in game. She has now bought herself an OEM wireless controller and we gave this controller to our son who beats the heck out of it and it still works great!

Works wonderfully. I've only been using it for about two months now, but it's still as responsive as when I bought it- which unfortunately isn't typical in controllers of this price range. It's also compatible with the Xbox app on my PC, so I'm able to turn on my recording software without having to fiddle with hotkeys, which is a small thing but helps. I'm glad I purchased, it was worth the money!

Bought this to place PC games and it worked right off the bat with Windows 10 and feels good in hand.
